Kaiju-A-GoGo News

Shrub-Ziggurath has arrived! Kaiju-A-GoGo now v1.1.0!

Shrub-Ziggurath, AKA Shrubby, is a three-headed plant monster with powers and abilities derived from the field of Mad Botany. Players will have the chance to deploy Seedlings, lash out with killer vines and walls of thorns, deploy shields of waste heat and stored radiation, and unleash storms of sand and earth on the unsuspecting world, as well as enjoying the usual pleasures of stomping and chomping with a 100-foot towering botanical menace.

The form and function of Shrub-Ziggurath are a loving homage to all the great plant monsters in pulp media, from Biolante to Audrey. Mad Scientist Lillian Belladonna and her Monkey Wrench Gang of misfits own and operate the “Mean Green Mother” of the Gogo-verse, sending Shrubby out to conquer cities around the globe, and punish world leaders for ecological crimes ranging from deforestation to littering.

Kaiju-A-GoGo was originally released with the first playable monster, Ginormasaurus, with players taking on the role of Dr. Norman E. Farious. As planned, Shrubby is the second playable monster, with a third monster, Armagordon to be added later this year. Each monster is added into the game as a free update, as a reward to early supporters of the game. Once Armagordon is added, future monsters will be separate DLC.

Also available now is our first DLC monster skin, Hot Rod Ginormasaurus! Trick out your giant monster and stomp on buildings in style! Watch for more skins coming soon!
