Some of you asked to be able to build bigger batteries that hold more electricity, so I have added two of them, as well as an epic blueprint version in this update![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]A new type of building, the Lithium Extractor, has also been added.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]It produces 'Lithium', a new resource required for the most epic of batteries![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]The new buildings are available as blueprints from the trader![/p][p][/p][p] [/p][p][/p][p]Thanks to everyone who has played during Steam Next Fest. [p]Hi all![/p][p][/p][p]It's been a crazy year. Tomorrow the Storm grows. I am excited to announce that Stormbridge will be participating in the June 2025 Steam Next Fest live, starting tomorrow (June 9)![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Stormbridge has a public demo which is already packed with hours of content, but I will be updating the demo to further add some new buildings and possibly even an epic building! Improvements such as resource metrics from the community have also been applied in the previous update.[/p][p]I will also write a devlogs showcasing the new maps (biomes) that will be in the full version of the game![/p][p]Meanwhile, here are some sneak peeks of the Sky Biome and the mysterious Underwater Biome![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p] [/p][p]The full version will have four different maps to play on, each with its own unique mechanics and special missions.[/p][p]Some ideas are that each map drops unique meta currency, to help unlock certain upgrades related to that map.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]The Tundra Biome was previously teased in the previous devlog - penguins, blizzards, clothing and a new temperature mechanic are introduced in this map.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Hope you'll like it![/p][p]-YYZ[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p][/p]

I decided to add a fun little feature.

You can now toggle photo mode with F11, allowing you to take screenshots of your pets as well as adjust camera options like lighting, depth of field, colour contrast, and more.

I've made Photo Mode work with both the Home Island as well as in-game. In future, Photo Mode may pause the game so that you can take nice screenshots leisurely.

Hi all!

I'm excited to give you a first look at the Tundra biome — the first of three new maps being added to Stormbridge!

You'll build across this frozen wasteland that's not just beautiful but brutal.
And survival here means adapting...fast.





After finding Faraday’s Lab at the edge of the sea, you board his boat....



You begin your journey, sailing off across the pristine blue.



Soon, tropical sounds give way to a gentle hush, and the breeze turns crisp.
Your breath starts to cloud softly in the air, and a shiver runs down your spine.

You are now stuck in the tundra.





Fishing won't work, cranes have trouble poking through ice, and your electric burners can't burn as efficiently.

You'll need new strategies - old tricks don't work here.



How will you help your settlers to adapt?




Tend to hardy new crops that shrug off frost and keep your settlers fed, even when the ground turns to ice.




Unlock snug, warm buildings where your settlers can rest, recover, and escape the biting cold.




Grow cotton and spin it into warm clothes — because a well-dressed settler is a healthy, happy one.




Fishing may be gone, but not all hope is lost! These chilly companions can help you...but only if you can befriend them!
