[h2]Happy New Year! 👋[/h2][p][/p][p]Welcome to the first update of 2026! As we prepare for Next Fest, we are working on some larger features that will take a bit longer to complete. However, we remain committed to releasing new content every week.[/p][p][/p][p]It's been a while since we added a movement mechanic, so this week we're introducing the "back dodge". [h2]Hi everyone! 👋[/h2][p]This week we have a very visual (and tactile) update for you![/p][p][/p][h3]New Camera Angle[/h3][p]We’ve heard many times that it can be difficult to see things behind walls and objects. We’ve increased and raised the camera angle significantly, making the environment much easier to navigate and enemies easier to spot.[/p][p][/p][h3]Map Axis Aligned Navigation[/h3][p]For our keyboard players, movement should now feel much more intuitive. Previously, you often had to "zig-zag" through corridors to move forward. We have aligned the movement direction with the map orientation, meaning you can now move in a straight line without constantly bumping into walls.[/p][p][/p][h3]Visual Effects & Feedback[/h3][p]We’ve added new visual feedback for the camera to make combat feel more impactful.[/p]
  • [p]Dynamic Feedback: It will now be much more obvious when you land a hit or take damage.[/p]
  • [p]Camera Bob: If you prefer a static view, you can now adjust or disable the camera bob effect directly in the Settings menu.[/p]

  • [p]Enhanced Audio Controls: We’ve added more granular settings for both Music and SFX so you can balance the soundscape to your liking.[/p][p][/p]

Dec 10 Update

[p]Hi everyone! 👋[/p][p][/p][p]This week we have another mega update for you![/p][p][/p][h3]Incapacitated characters[/h3][p]Up until now, there were no consequences to not escaping the dungeon. Starting today, when a character fails to escape the dungeon, not only they lose all their items, but they will also become incapacitated.[/p][p]An incapacitated character cannot be used. They will recover on their own after a while or when the entire roster becomes incapacitated.[/p][p][/p][h3]A new layout for the roster screen[/h3][p]As part of the bigger incapacitated changes, we've also improved the layout of the Roster screen so it's clearer which characters are available.[/p][p][/p][h3]Audio and Video[/h3]
  • [p]Ambient Music: our 3D artist, Solomon, is also a talented musician and they created some ambient music for the game. [/p]
  • [p]Video settings: you can now adjust video settings in the Settings menu.[/p][p][/p]
[h3]Smaller fixes:[/h3]
  • [p]Fireballs now spawn closer to the caster and they no longer spawn behind enemies[/p]
  • [p]Fireballs are no longer interrupted by keys on the ground[/p][p][/p]
