📹 Devlog #2 – From Toy Tracks to Chaos

“I’ve dreamed of making my own video game since I was a kid…”
And now that dream is becoming real with Speed Rivals, my indie slot racing game.

After fixing a major physics issue, I dived into a phase filled with excitement, frustration… and endless menus.

In this second devlog you’ll see: The evolution from a barely-moving car to a full demo.
Car selection, track system, lap tracking and big-room settings.
How phonk & lo-fi music ended up in the game.
The madness of building a settings menu from scratch.
And the moment where I almost lost it with “one more little feature.”

💡 Will I actually finish it? Or get lost endlessly polishing small details?

If you enjoy game development, racing games, or just want to follow the chaos of creating your first indie game — this devlog is for you.
