Crew Improvements
Hello from the developers of Freestyle 2!
The renewed Crew system through the March update!
Many users showed interest and participated!
There might have been some inconveniences with the newly changed Crew
system.
We will conduct a hotfix for the Crew renewal on April 12th and share the purpose
of the Crew renewal and the roadmap for future Crew updates.
Purpose of Crew Renewal by the Development Team
"The development team aims to create more diverse cooperative and competitive
contents through the Crew renewal compared to before.
The first renewal patch was conducted as a groundwork for content production. In the future, we plan to expand the scale of the Crew content through the second and third updates.
To enhance the fun of playing together, we aim to add cooperative and competitive elements through the “Crew” content and add various fun elements to the Freestyle 2 gameplay.
However, before adding such elements, we plan to improve convenience and
support and create related contents to facilitate the creation of many Crews.
4/12 Crew Update Hotfix
1. Crew Points and Quest Adjustments
"After the Crew renewal patch, we have recognized that it is currently difficult to
achieve the quests that were designed in consideration for the gaps between the
number of members in different Crews.
Therefore, we have adjusted the difficulty levels so that Crew Quests can be
easily achieved regardless of the size and increased the amount of Crew Points
that can be obtained from weekly quests while removing them as rewards from
daily quests.
In addition, to eliminate any possibility of unfairness to the Crews who have worked hard before the reset of Crew Points, we plan to reward Crew Points by converting the previous Crew level and accumulated points before the renewal."
2. Other Improvements
A. Messenger Display
We have increased the font size of the nickname of the currently logged in
character in the Crew tab of the messenger pop-up when the crew member is
online.
B. Online Crew Members Display
When a Crew member logs in, their name and self-introduction message will be
displayed.
C. Crew Member Note Display
When you right-click on a Crew member to check their Notes, you can now check
Notes for both the “main character” and “online character” separately.
D. Acquisition History Button Removed
Daily quests no longer grant Crew Points and the Acquisition History button has
been removed.
E. Contribution Ranking Display
The Contribution score will now be displayed even for the accounts that do not
have a score.
F. Weekly Quest Contribution Details Popup
Weekly Quest achievement rate is now updated real-time.
G. Crew List Tab Added
The Crew List tab has been added so that players who have already joined a Crew
can check the list of Crews.
H. “View Online Members” Button Added
A filter function has been added so that only online Crew members can be seen in
the Crew Member List.
3. Notice on Content to Support Crew Masters in April
Currently, each Crew is being operated under the management of a Crew Master.
After the Crew members complete quests, Crew Points can be used to set rewards for the "Monthly Contribution Ranking.”
As for Crews that have less members, it has been difficult to obtain enough Crew
Points needed to set Monthly Contribution Ranking Rewards.
In order to make it more convenient, we are planning to give benefits to the
masters for Crews that have more than a certain number of members.
From April, a beneficial content for Crew Masters will start in order to facilitate the creation of new Crews.
Depending on the size of the Crew, event Gkash will be provided to Crew Masters
on the first day of maintenance every month if the members have been active and
fulfill certain conditions.
[Crew Master Benefits]
Target: Crews that have 15 or more members including the master.
Benefit Conditions:
* Small Crews: 15 - 30 members, 10 members play 50 or more matches each in a month
* Medium Crews: 31 - 60 members, 20 members play 50 or more matches each in a month
* Large Crews: 61 - 90 members, 30 members play 50 or more matches each in a month
* Extra-Large Crews: 91 or more members, 50 members play 50 or more matches each in a month
Crew Size Check Time: On the first day of every month, with the exception of April where it will be checked on the 12th which is the maintenance day.
(For example, if the Crew has 61 members on April 1st and 60 on the last day, it
will be considered a Large Crew.)"
Reward: 20,000 Event Gkash
* The Crew system reward may be changed in the future
* The first [Crew Master Benefits] will sent on May
- 3/22/2023 (Wednesday) Crew points will be given based on the level of the crew
and the crew coin held before the crew system update.
4. Crew System Update Roadmap
We plan to keep adding various Crew-related contents after April.
We would like to share a brief roadmap of improvements and additions to the Crew content in line with the purpose of the Crew renewal.

3rd Quarter (July - September): Crew Ranking Aggregation Scheme Change, Crew Tournament Update
4th Quarter (October - December): Crew League System Added (A small number of Crews will be able to form a league and community where they can play together.)
