the official release date for Animal Spa has been decided!

Animal Spa is officially launching on May 14!
The price will be set at $5.99 USD, and to celebrate the launch, we will be offering a 10% discount for the first two weeks. We hope you’re looking forward to it!
If you’ve played the demo or followed our Steam announcements, you may already be familiar with some updates.
But here’s a full overview of what’s changing with the official release!
[h2]What’s New in the Full Release?[/h2]
[h3]1. 8 Additional Stages[/h3]
You may have already visited Cherry Blossom City and Bamboo Garden through the recent demo update.
In the full release, eight new stages will be available in addition to the default ones!
By running your bathhouse and earning medals, you can obtain keys to unlock new stages.
Use the keys to open bathhouses in the areas you choose!
[h3]2. Staff Management[/h3]
Through the Staff Training Room, you can upgrade various staff features that players have requested.
Expand the number of job applications and employees, enable staff to pre-stock supplies, and improve other staff management functions!
[h3]3. Time System[/h3]
You can now synchronize the outdoor time in your bathhouse with your computer’s system clock and experience four different times of day.
Time changes are purely visual and won’t affect gameplay.
You can adjust the time freely using the Time Desk!
[h3]4. More Characters and Items[/h3]
Unlock new stages to meet new characters and discover new decor items!
There are also hidden characters that can be unlocked by fulfilling special conditions — see if you can uncover all the secrets!
[h3]5. Collect All the Letters[/h3]
In the full version, you can collect all 48 letters sent by the animal guests.
By using decorations that the guests love, you’ll receive letters from them.
Enjoy their heartfelt stories and unlock new OST tracks to play in the jukebox!
(We are also planning to add special illustrations for each letter in a future update — please look forward to it!)
We sincerely thank everyone who played the demo and provided feedback and bug reports over the past three months since February 18.

With the official launch just around the corner, version 0.5 has been updated with some new systems, convenience features, and bug fixes.
Please see the details below!
[h2]System Additions[/h2]
[h3]1. Guest Conversations[/h3]
Guests in the bathhouse will occasionally stop and share their thoughts about the bathhouse.
Currently, they only exchange casual chatter, but in future updates, we plan to have them share tips that help with bathhouse management!
[h3]2. Default Guest Info[/h3]
Animal Spa assigns 4 random default guests out of a total of 8 to your Steam account.
Later on, you can obtain the guests you're missing by earning platinum medals in each category or by connecting with friends via the Exchange Computer.
However, since the concept of "default guests" wasn’t clearly communicated in-game,
you’ll now be informed which default guests have been assigned to your account when starting the game.
This information can also be viewed when you interact with the Exchange Computer.
[h3]3. New Letter Related to Keys[/h3]
When you collect a certain number of medals, you will receive a letter that explains how to unlock the next stage.

Since the last demo update at the end of last month, many newly developed features have been added to the demo version as well.

[h2]Hiring and Managing Staff[/h2]
You can now hire and upgrade staff members.
When animals use facilities they like, they may send you a job application.
You can review the applications and decide whether to hire or decline them.
There are 24 basic animals in total, with 3 types for each of the 8 categories. These basic animals cannot be upgraded.
However, unique characters like Maltese, Retriever, and other special characters obtained through certain conditions can be upgraded.
In the demo version, you can hire up to 10 staff members.
In the full version, you will be able to hire many more.
[h2]Interacting with Friends[/h2]
You can interact with friends who are also playing Animal Spa.
You may unlock basic animals that your friend has but you don’t, or receive stars instead.
You can check the detailed usage in-game by pressing the ? button.
[h2]Stages[/h2]
In the updated demo version, you can now unlock and play the “Cherry Blossom City” and “Bamboo Garden” stages.
Stages can be unlocked using keys obtained by collecting 24 medals in each stage.
Once a stage is unlocked, new characters, BGM, and decorative items become available.
[h2]Letters & BGM[/h2]
Guests will send you letters when they enjoy using their favorite facilities.
In the full version, each animal will have 6 letters, totaling 48 unique letters.
Unlocking letters will also reward you with new BGM tracks.
In the demo version, only 1 letter per animal can be unlocked.
[h2]Operational Facilities[/h2]
Several new operational facilities have been added to support more efficient bathhouse management.
You can assign hired staff or set budgets to optimize your operations.
If you encounter any bugs or have feedback while playing the newly updated demo version, please share them in the Steam community forums or on our Discord.
We will continue working to deliver a more polished full release.
