[p]EA SPORTS FC 26 v1.0.4 will soon be available and includes the updates below.[/p][h3]
Gameplay[/h3][p]Made the following updates:[/p]

• [p]Addressed cases of players not being able to perform Physical Tackles, especially instances that occurred when the player had specific PlayStyles (eg. Bruiser).[/p]
• [p]\[Authentic Gameplay Only] Reverted the kick off defensive positioning change made in v1.0.2.[/p]
  • [p]Competitive gameplay is unchanged.[/p]
• [p]Addressed instances of Finesse Shots curling opposite of their intended direction.[/p]
• [p]In some cases, a Trivela Shot could have occurred instead of the requested Finesse Shot.[/p]
• [p]Players could have sometimes pulled out of blocking animations too early (eg. a player sticking their leg out to block a shot).[/p]
• [p]Improved the Be A Goalkeeper experience:[/p]
  • [p]Increased responsiveness of saves.[/p]
  • [p]Addressed instances of the goalkeeper not facing the ball when getting up from a save.[/p]
  • [p]Improved timing window for requesting a save.[/p]
  • [p]Increased auto positioning assistance when trying to claim a cross.[/p][p][/p]

[h3]Ultimate Team [/h3][p]Made the following change:[/p]

• [p]Matches will be played at night when the Stadium Shadow option is set to Off.[/p]

[p]Addressed the following issue: [/p]

• [p]Addressed instances of certain Evolutions not displaying following a specific UI flow.[/p][p][/p]

[h3]Clubs[/h3][p]Addressed the following issue: [/p]

• [p]Sometimes players received the connection to lobby lost error message when searching for a League Match.[/p][p][/p]

[h3]Career Mode[/h3][p]Addressed the following issues: [/p]

• [p]When a player started discussions around contract extensions, the corresponding messages were not displayed in the Central Hub.[/p]
• [p]It was not always possible to interact with transfer offers for players requesting a transfer.[/p][p][/p]

[h3]General, Audio, and Visual[/h3][p]Made the following change:[/p]

• [p]Added Game Type information on thepre-match screen in Kick Off.[/p]

[/p][p]- \[PC Only] Addressed some instances of controllers not responding in gameplay while we continue to investigate your reports on this issue and plan future improvements.[/p][p]- \[PC Only] Resolution and Display settings could have sometimes reset after closing the game.[/p][p]- \[PC Only] Optimized cloth physics to reduce impact on performance.[/p][p]- \[PC Only] Improved performance during corner kicks.[/p][p]- \[Showcase Only] Addressed instances of launching the game through an invite not placing the recipient in the match lobby.[/p][p]- Addressed various stability issues that could have occurred.

Made the following updates:
[/p][p]- Improved kick off defensive positioning:[/p][p]    - The defending team will now position themselves more compactly for a short period of time after a kick off.[/p][p]    - Updated positions of defending players prior to kick off for all formations.[/p][p]    - EASFC Tracker: trello.com/c/5Bw1rlJ5[/p][p]- Reduced the accuracy of Acrobatic shots taken right after a Rainbow Flick.[/p][h3]- Addressed instances of players taking a Trivela Shot at the keeper when it could have been more beneficial to perform a lace shot.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. This is true of many long-running franchises, but nowhere is it more obvious than in EA FC. EA Sports FC 26, though, feels like a game finally willing to back up its yearly price tag. It doesn’t rip everything up, but a series of smart changes and a few long-overdue tweaks make this the most confident, rewarding entry the series has had in years...
