[p][/p][p]EA SPORTS FC 26 v1.4.2 is now live for the PC/PS4/PS5/XB1 and XBX|S versions and will soon be able for the Switch / Switch 2 versions.[/p][p]Gameplay[/p][p]Made the following updates:[/p]

• [p]Addressed an issue where the goalkeeper could've deflected the ball too accurately during an anticipation save.[/p]
• [p]Inaccurate knuckle ball shots could have occurred more often than intended.[/p]

[p]Career Mode[/p][p]Made the following changes:[/p]

• [p]Added a new Contract Extension setting under Transfer & Scouting that enables you to choose how open players might be to contract extensions.[/p]
• [p]Updated visuals and animations for scheduling loading screen.[/p]
• [p]Added a new Social Media panel that surfaces active Challenge Objectives during challenge scenarios.[/p]

[p]Addressed the following issues:[/p]

• [p]After requesting a transfer, players could not have always been offered new contacts.[/p]
• [p]In Live Start Points, women’s teams were unintentionally present in some leagues.[/p]

[p]Clubs[/p]

• [p]Goalkeepers were sometimes holding the ball for longer than intended when a pass was requested.[/p]
• [p]Once emptied, short-term stamina could have previously only been recovered if players became idle.[/p]

[p]General, Audio, and Visual[/p][p]Made the following changes:[/p]

• [p]Updated some badges, logos, hair, boots, star heads, lighting, kits, tattoos, 2D portraits, scarves, banners, cameras, button callouts, overlays and TIFOs[/p]

[p]Addressed the following issues:[/p]

• [p]Addressed various stability issues that could have occurred.[/p]

[/p][p][/p][p]To kick things off, we’d love to understand how effective you feel PlayStyles are compared to the impact of Attributes. We’ve also opened up a PlayStyles Discussion for anyone who wants to share more detailed opinions. Based on your feedback, we’ll be following up soon with a deeper dive into potential improvements and changes around this topic.[/p][p][/p][h2]Career Mode[/h2][p]In an upcoming update when beginning a new Career, you will be able to choose how willing players are to negotiate as their contracts near expiration, with the new Contract Extension setting under Transfer & Scouting. Set it to Normal where factors like playing time matter, or Lenient where players are more open to signing an extension.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Ultimate Team[/h2][p]We're bringing more ways of training and upgrading your club into the game.
