Next Update Preview - [PTB]

[p]​Hello everyone! [/p][p]Time to start a new Public Test Branch (PTB) 😎 It is a bit earlier than the previous PTB, but once you see the main highlight, you will understand 😅 [/p][p] [/p]
Highlights 
[p]We will keep updating this PTB with more content and fixes, so do not forget to follow the blog to avoid missing new elements!  [/p][p] [/p][h2]Custom Factions [/h2][p]We have a first version that we would like to get your thoughts on, but most likely it won’t be fully released with the update as there are some areas we’d like to improve before the full release.  [/p][p]In any case, we want to know your initial reactions and areas to improve custom factions, so we can be aligned on what players are expecting. [/p][p]  [/p][p]🚧 In the next build, we will lock the CF for being chosen for the AI. Right now, they can be used by the AI, but it is causing lot of problems, so please do not let the AI play custom factions. [/p][p] [/p][h2]Endless Monsoon [/h2][p]This is something we mentioned in a previous blog: A guide to the end of the world. Our idea is to have a climactic moment around the end of the game. Around 30 turns (normal speed) before the turn limitation, it will trigger this special “ending Monsoon” that will provoke the world to be even more dangerous and to unleash the Keeper of the Depths, the last guardian the ENDLESS placed to keep the Lost constrained (some of you already saw it, but now it will be more visible to everyone).  [/p][p] [/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][p] ✨I will update this thread with any additional updates ✨[/p][hr][/hr][p][/p][h2]How to access the PTB via Steam [/h2]

  4. [p]Select Betas > and select “public-test-branch-new-update“[/p]

Hotfix 2 - Victory Conditions and some crashes

  • [p]Fixed a bug on Tahuk improvement Astronomy Club. (Thanks mouse for the report!)[/p]
[h2]Victory conditions[/h2]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where the player was forced to End Game regardless of the chosen victory or other victory condition being fulfilled. (Thanks Snordon for the report!)

    Extra Context > This was mainly happening to users that deactivated the victory conditions on the previous update and as we change the victory conditions it triggered the ending screen game.[/p]

  • [p]Fixed missing tooltip in the objective of the chapters 1 and 2 of the Necrophage quest[/p]

  • [p]Improved the text of the objective of the quest “The Hunt” (chapter 4 of the Kin’s quest)[/p]
