Hey everyone!
We’re back with another devlog to share some exciting new features coming to Lakeside Bar in the full version. Let’s take a look!

🧑‍🍳 New Staff

• The full version will include a total of 13 staff members, working in different roles like: bartenders, barbacks, serving staff, and a manager.
  
• Most staff can be hired as long as you have enough money, while a few require you to meet specific conditions before they become available.
  
• They can also help with certain tasks like: automatically restocking supplies or collecting money.
  

🎨 New Feature - Thematic Customization

• Players can now unlock wall textures, floor tiles, and more.
  
• You can create a unified theme or freely mix and match however you like.

Hi everyone!

We’ve got a couple of cozy new additions to share in this latest dev update. Whether you're a fan of slow, peaceful fishing or want to bring your own music into the bar - this one’s for you.

🎣 New: Focus Fishing Mode
You can now activate Focus Fishing when entering a fishing spot!
In this mode:

• Your character will stay in place and can’t move until you manually cancel.
  
• The fishing timer remains the same: 30 seconds = 1 fish.
  
• A new mini-game mechanic has been added: a hook moves up and down inside a gauge.
  
• Tap the icon or press the keybind to interact.
  

Hitting different areas on the gauge gives you progress boosts:

• Normal hit: -5 sec
  
• Perfect hit: -10 sec
  
• Miss: Nothing happens (it won’t increase or decrease the progress time)
  

There are no new fish types in this version - just a new way to enjoy the current system!


🎵 New: Record Player & Custom Music You can now import your own music into the game! 🎧
We’ve added a record player feature that works just like a simple music app, allowing you to edit your playlist and set the vibe however you like. Whether it’s chill lofi, jazzy beats, or your favorite playlist, it’s your bar, your vibe.

Important notice: excessive importing tracks may impact the game performance.

Hi everyone,

We’ve noticed that some players are having trouble seeing their Golden Rod event screenshots appear in the Community Hub. This happens because screenshots taken during the demo are automatically tagged as “demo” by Steam, which prevents them from showing up publicly in the game’s main hub.

🛠️ How to submit your entry instead:
If your screenshot doesn't appear in the Community Hub:

• Upload it to your Steam profile (please set it to Public).
  
• Share the link in the Golden Rod Event thread under the Discussions tab.
  

After the event ends, we’ll gather all valid entries from the discussion thread and randomly select 10 lucky participants

June 9 - June 16 at 10:00 AM (PT)[/p][p]✨ How to Join:[/p]

1. [p]Catch 5 different Golden Fish in Lakeside Bar.[/p]
2. [p]Once completed, you'll unlock the "Golden Catcher" Achievement on Steam.[/p]
3. [p]Take a screenshot of the unlocked Achievement.[/p]
4. [p]Upload your screenshot to the Lakeside Bar Community Hub, under the "Screenshot" section.[/p]

[p]🎁 Reward:
After the event ends, we'll randomly select 10 eligible players to receive a reward.
🔑 Each winner will receive a Blue Steam key, which grants full access to the full version of Lakeside Bar, including future updates. While the key can be redeemed at any time, the game will only be playable once it's officially released on Steam.[/p][p]Heads up! Players who caught all 5 golden fish before the event starts will not be able to trigger the achievement.
