Arizona Sunshine - The Damned DLC is coming a little later this year

We’re sorry to announce that the Arizona Sunshine – The Damned DLC release has been delayed.

The Damned DLC is the biggest Arizona Sunshine mission to date. It’s important for us to deliver a game that is polished to our quality level. Unfortunately, that means getting ready for release is taking longer than anticipated.

The Damned DLC features a large and completely new environment with a unique feeling of scale - from looking a few hundred feet down the side of the massive dam, to cramped hallways and dodgy, makeshift paths down creaking stair shafts - that is sure to test your VR survival skills to the limit.

Please keep an eye on our channels for the latest updates. You can find us on Facebook and Twitter and subscribe to the newsletter at arizona-sunshine.com.

Ready for a sneak peek of the largest Arizona Sunshine mission yet?

We’ve got a brand new gameplay video full of first-person VR zombie shooting action for you. Meet Liam, our story’s brand new protagonist and explore a large, new environment with a unique sense of scale: a massive Arizonan hydroelectric dam overrun by hundreds of flesh-eating undead. Are you ready to put your VR survival skills to the test?

Arizona Sunshine Patch Notes

Hi everyone,

We made some improvements to the latest index update:

  • Added Vive Cosmos support
  • Drop equipment option now off by default for non index-controller users
  • Adjusted grab sensitivity for the index controller

Arizona Sunshine - Index Update

Hi everyone,

We are eager to share a new update with you all. By popular demand, we have added a new feature that allows players to drop their guns and other equipment. By enabling this option you can grab and hold items by applying pressure to the force sensor in the grip of the Index controller, and drop items by releasing the grip, offering a more realistic and comfortable Index controller experience. The option is enabled by default for Index controllers and can also be enabled for all other supported controllers. You can find this setting in the gameplay menu.

In addition, we also made the following updates:

  • Fixed issue where Vive wand users could not use one or either of their triggers
  • Fixed holstering in the first level
  • Fixed WMR teleport aim rotation
  • Hyperkin movement now working with sliding locomotion
