1v1 Deathmatch Tournament on April 3rd!

It's time for another official tournament where you can win powerful runes as prizes! Here are the details:

• Date and Time: 1:00pm EST April 3rd, 2016
  
• Mode: 1v1 Deathmatch, Single Elimination
  
• Duration: Tournaments usually last 2-3 hours to reach the end of the finals match
  
• Prizes: Multiple powerful runes will be awarded to the finalists, semi-finalists, and "Best Tactics" - a special prize for strong tactics prevailing against superior odds, typically awarded to lower level participants.
  
• Characters: Any levels or immortal combinations allowed, but level 150 or greater is recommended.
  
• How to join: Login to Immortal Empire on Steam and join the tournament channel by typing "/join tournament" into chat. Please arrive 10 minutes early to receive your matchup.
  

Too low level to compete? No problem, we usually hold a few lower level matches and you can always spectate the high level games on Twitch.

2nd official tournament since we launched on Steam will be a set of campaign speedruns.

Enjoy Immortal Empire, want to be competitive but don't fancy PvP? No problem! Play in a campaign speedrun. All players simultaneously try to clear a given campaign level and whoever finishes first wins!

• Date and Time: 1:00pm EST February 21st, 2016
  
• Characters: All immortals at any level are permitted. Higher level players will compete on higher difficulties, and there will be a prize for winners at each difficulty level attempted.
  
• Duration: Speedrun tournaments usually last 1-2 hours with multiple speedruns to try.
  
• Prizes: Runes will be awarded to the winners and runner ups of each speedrun.
  

Join chat channel "Tournament" using the command "/join tournament" when in public chat. Please arrive 10 minutes early to ensure you are ready to start the speedrun on time.

Version 2.1.0 has a ton of improvements geared towards enhancing the PvP experience inside Immortal Empire.

This update includes:

• Deathmatch PvP mode including a new map
  
• Up to 4v4 for tower control and deathmatch allowing primary immortals only
  
• Loads of improvements for spectators to better observe PvP games.
  
• A huge slew of balance changes to facilitate better PvP matches.
  
• Various other bug fixes both large and small.
