Winter Wonderland 7, Narrative Content, and More!
Greetings Survivors!!
Next week, the community-favorite event, Winter Wonderland begins! Be sure to gather your tribes for the most festive ARK event!
The Winter Wonderland patch on December 14th will introduce brand new narrative content - featuring actors Maddy Madden (The Wheel of Time) and David Tennant (Doctor Who) reprising their respective roles as Helena Walker and Sir Edmund Rockwell. All of Helena’s and Rockwell’s Dossiers and Explorer Notes will also be voiced by the actors, as will survivors’ epic confrontation versus Rockwell on ARK Aberration. The highly requested Scorched Earth ascension will also make its debut!

Deck the halls with boughs of holly! Winter Wonderland will be making a triumphant return with new presents and goodies for ARK survivors. The epic winter-themed holiday event begins on December 14th and will last until Thursday, January 5th.
RaptorClaus will be sailing across the star-filled night sky in his sleigh, dropping off presents filled with high-end loot as well as Mistletoe, and Coal for those naughty Survivors. You'll be able to catch RaptorClaus flying across the skies at midnight (game time) on all maps.
GachaClaus is also making a triumphant return to help RaptorClaus spread the holiday cheer! GachaClaus will be roaming all maps looking for eager recipients while sporting holiday-themed colors. He will be accepting your coal and in exchange will gift you holiday-themed items, or you can trade-in your mistletoe and coal for skins, costumes, weapons, armor, or 12 new Chibis!

Survivors on all platforms will be receiving a special Evolution Event as part of Winter Wonderland! It will be active from Tuesday the 14th of Dec until Thursday the 6th of Jan. All Official Servers across each platform will be undergoing this evolutionary change which includes:

In the past few weeks, we've seen a surge in viewership across Twitch for ARK streams. We were pleased to find out VAULTROOM x Crazy Raccoon held a PvP ARK event from 11/25 - 12/5 on Lost Island. The series reached incredible viewership on twitch, reaching the top ranks with popular Twitch games

- Experience gain, taming, and gathering have been quintupled compared to our standard Official Servers (5x)
- Breeding, hatching, and raising rates have been quadrupled compared to our standard Official Servers (4x)
- Tribes are set to 25 players max
- Tribe alliances are disabled, though informal alliances are allowed
- Servers have a maximum player count of 100
- These maps will be available: The Island, Scorched Earth, Ragnarok, Lost Island, Valguero, and The Center
- Tek dinos (Tek Parasaur, Tek Quetzal, Tek Rex, Tek Raptor, Tek Stego), Paracer, Tapejara, and the Titanosaur are not available for taming on Classic PvP
- All Aberration, Extinction, Genesis Part 1, and Genesis Part 2 content is unavailable on Classic PvP
- Scaling of weapon damage has been reduced
- No TEK Engrams
- No cave building
- Cryopods enabled
- Tamed Stegosaurus Resistance reduced by 35%
- Tamed Quetzal Resistance reduced by 20%
- Tamed Wyvern Resistance reduced by 20%
