Aquatica is coming soon to ARK: Survival Evolved!

[p][/p][h3]With the DLC releasing soon with new, unique additions to the game, we wanted to take some time to highlight different features, creatures and aspects with more regular posting for the community. [/h3][p][/p][h3]The community also will have it's own Discord server linked here, for all things ARK: Aquatica community wise, we will keep a close eye on both the Discord server and the ARK Survival Evolved community hub on Steam![/h3][p][/p][p]Today's post will be led off with two creature dossiers, detailing two of the more widely known creatures that a unique to the Aquatica DLC. With a larger creature dossier release coming tomorrow, Friday the 11th.[/p][p][/p][h3]Mudpuppy[/h3][h3]Necturus maculosus[/h3][p][/p][p]"I've not encountered any creature quite like this before. It has the physical appearance of a salamander, yet is the size of a domesticated dog. It also has the personality to match. The name Mudpuppy seems fitting."[/p][p]Definitely a creature that you will come across early... Mudpuppies are tamable creatures that will be a reliable, companion-like tame that will not only help you survive on land, but also underwater.[/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p][/p][h3]Tridacna [/h3][h3]Tridacna tenanmalus[/h3][p][/p][p]"This giant clam is more of a rock than an animal. Like a rock, the Tridacna remains in its place. If you are not careful, you can end up trapped in its maw. If you do not provoke it, these are more of an annoyance than a threat."[/p][p]Dangerous yet high yield, the Tridacna provides you with an option for a quick grab of pearls or a longer term investment to yield more pearls over time.[/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]With more creature reveals and items on the way, we hope that not only the community remains excited but also looking forward to seeing and meeting these creatures upon release. Ark Aquatica release date confirmed as ASE braces for its exclusive expansion

With all attention on its Unreal Engine 5 remaster and its official servers switched off for good, Ark fans never thought they'd see an original expansion in Ark Survival Evolved again. However, to celebrate the series' tenth birthday, ASE is back in the spotlight with Ark Aquatica. While its AI-generated reveal trailer caused some backlash, it looks to be a mightily impressive expansion to Survival Evolved, which will have its official servers reinstated just for the occasion. Now, Snail Games has locked in an Ark Aquatica release date, and you don't have long to wait at all - you'll be able to head beneath the waves next week on Tuesday, July 15.

Ark Survival Ascended devs give three reasons why so many have stuck with ASE
