Some are small touches, some change the mood of a space in a big way. We’ll keep some surprises for launch day, but if you’ve been following along (or have played the demo), you’ll notice so many improvements and changes the moment you start building and placing things. Also, the Coziness System is a new feature that wasn't available before, and a friendly Tutorial was a must that's been implemented only recently. Goodbye August, hello Coming Soon. We moved the release date from August to an unspecified time, shrouded in mystery for now. The remaining work (described below) won't take us much more time. We're really getting close!




We are adding new items! Log Away already had more than 500; that was a lot, wasn't it? Well, now it's growing even bigger, in all categories: building, furnishing, and decorating. For instance, porches! Porches will definitely increase the coziness of your log cabin.



As players, you need a smooth and intuitive gameplay experience. It's a fundamental principle for all video games, but it's especially important for Log Away, which aims to provide a relaxing experience. That's why we're tweaking several small details, such as the controls, the user interface, and how you build and interact with the environment.

Last but not least, we're optimizing the game to run as smoothly as possible on older configurations, plus the dreaded task of all - searching for and removing bugs.

To sum up. It's a lot of work, but most of these tasks started a few weeks back, so we're really getting close to the finish line.
