At UPLAY Online,
we are paying close attention to your feedback about Youtubers Life 3. We believe we have understood the source of the complaints and we want to address them as much as possible, while always keeping the essence of the game intact. To achieve this,
we have outlined a roadmap that will take us to the launch of version 1.0.We understand that you want to enjoy an offline gameplay experience, closer to the first two games, while still keeping the competitive and online spirit of Youtubers Life 3. For this reason, we are planning a set of new features with a common goal: to add more depth and richness to the single-player experience. In particular, we want to expand the content in events beyond online interaction. Players will have more motivations to attend events and participate in the activities they offer. These are the main new features we are working on:
Event changesThe event calendar will be removed, and there will be new events available to attend at any given time, without having to wait until the next day. In addition, a wide variety of new activities will be added. Some will be locked depending on your karma or your relationship with the organizing brand. You’ll be able to get exclusive news or interview famous characters.
Karma systemYour choices matter. Most of the actions you take in the game will have ethical implications, shaping your public image between right and wrong. Choosing one side or the other will not penalize you; instead, each will give access to different features, especially during events. You’ll be free to decide what kind of Youtuber you want to be.
Inspiration as a resourceTake a break. As humans, our capacity to work has limits. A new system will be added to break the endless loop of recording videos, forcing you to take rests either at home or by visiting outside locations. While it may sound restrictive, we assure you it will not be overly intrusive.
New video typesThe different types of videos in the game will be more faithful to real life. New video types will be added and some existing ones will be replaced.
- Vlogs: talk about rumors and news obtained at events. They can be recorded anywhere.
- Interviews: interview famous characters at events.
- Other types currently in development include unboxings, speedruns, reactions to other users’ videos, and more.
New online podcast recording minigameTeam up with your friends and record a podcast-style video in an entirely new minigame.
New thumbnail rating systemYour creativity will no longer be limited by the rating system.
Changes to the strike systemManaging strikes will now be more fun and challenging, with stronger effects on your results, including the option to pay bribes in shady corners to cancel strikes.
Subscribers aligned with brandsYour subscribers will now be fans of specific brands and will prefer content related to those brands. They will penalize you if you don’t meet their expectations.
Improved brand relationshipsManaging your relationships with brands will be more important, as this will determine access to the events they organize.
Changes to assignmentsAssignments will now be obtained by interacting with NPCs in events.
New NPCsSome of your favorite characters from Youtubers Life 2 will return. While you won’t be able to build friendships with them, they will offer special missions.
All these features are still work in progress and may change as development continues or based on your feedback, so we encourage you to share your ideas with us.
The game is still in Early Access, precisely so we can listen to your opinions and improve aspects that aren’t as fun as they should be. As you can see, we are fully committed to development, and it is not our intention to abandon the game—in fact, quite the opposite: we want it to become the best experience possible.
