Playtest Update #11

[p]Hi hi hi![/p][p]Another big content update for the Playtest Version![/p][p]I'm moving to Berlin soon and I will lose a few days to settling in there so I want to add in as much content as I can before moving.[/p][p]So people will have enough time to playtest new stuff and give feedback. Then I can focus on fixing and balancing things.[/p][p]This update introduces 9 cards and 7 curios.[/p][p]Once again, enjoy my programmer art:[/p][p][/p][p]I will add a few more cards and curios and then I'm planning to focus on adding new boss modifiers so the game can counter new mechanics.

Playtest Update #10

[p]Hi Replicatters![/p][p]A major content update is here for the beta version.[/p][p][/p][p]I'm making all the new content instantly available to make the testing easier and faster.[/p][p]This would break the balance of the game a little bit because new cards and curios are quite strong.[/p][p]The idea is to have them locked at the beginning and unlock them when you level up so you'd be using them on later decks and difficulties.[/p][p]Also, I will add new boss modifiers to counter some cards and curios.[/p][p]So let's not worry about the balance atm but test if the new cards and curios working properly progammer art(soon to be replaced):[/p][p][/p][p]Rememberi you can apply to join the playtest on our discord.[/p][p][/p]

Playtest Update #9

[p]Hi everyone![/p][p]We already announced we've partnered with Erabit Studios for global publishing.[/p][p]Erabit is known for publishing innovative indie games and supporting passionate developers.[/p][p]With their help, Replicat will reach new heights![/p][p]And on the development side, I've been adding new stuff to Replicat and have been fixing bugs.[/p][p]I updated the Playtest Version with these updates, after testing them on the Playtest Version, I will update the Demo Version too.[/p][p][/p][h3]Major Changes:[/h3][p]- Reworked "same color hand" curios:[/p][p]I changed the curios that trigger when "all cards in your hand are the same color". Now they trigger when "at least 3 pairs are the same color". Their effects are slightly nerfed.[/p][p]Affected curios: Eye Candy, Melthand Device, Roman Candles, Nyan Bat[/p][p][/p][p]- Added End Game Stats: You see these stats when you beat or lose the game. Stats include:[/p][p] - Total Moves Made[/p][p] - Total Turns Used[/p][p] - Total Points Scored[/p][p] - Total Money Earned[/p][p] - Total Money Spent[/p][p] - Number of Cards Burned[/p][p] - Total Number of Shop Rerolls[/p][p] - Number of Super Purrs Achieved[/p][p] - Total Number of Mismatches[/p][p] - Curios Purchased[/p][p] - No of essences used[/p][p][/p][p]- Big Picture Deck Mode: Added a button in deck view which displays a detailed screen where you can see all your cards and curios together. People have been asking for this when they beat the game, they want to send a screenshot showing the score but also what cards and curios they have in their deck.[/p][p][/p][h3]Minor changes:[/h3][p]- Added , between thousands. Now instead of "1000000", you'll see "1,000,000" in the score[/p][p]- Added scientific notation if the score is higher than 1 billion. Expect to see things like "1,450e10"[/p][p]- BUGFIX: burncost on shop screen doesnt turn to RED when not affordable[/p][p]- BUGFIX: you can go minus turns and never lose[/p][p]- BUGFIX: loading cards upgraded with essences were broken[/p][p]- BUGFIX: some edge case issues about cards upgraded by Cultist Robe[/p]

Playtest Update #8

[p]Hey Cat Crew! 😸[/p][p]I’ve just rolled out a major Beta Update for Replicat!
This update is currently only available on the "Replicat Beta" branch. If you want to join the playtest, hop into Replicat Discord and apply for access![/p][p]This Beta version is where I experiment with fresh mechanics, cards, and curio. So expect to see some half-baked ideas and temporary art as I iterate and playtest. Your feedback is super important right now![/p][h2]🛒 New Feature: Item Locking in the Shop![/h2][p][/p][p]You can now lock shop items to save them for future visits!
Just drag and drop your favorite items into the locking circle, and they’ll stick around for your next trip to the shop. (But beware: their price will go up by +25% each round you keep them locked!)[/p][h2]🐱‍👓 Introducing 3 New Curios![/h2][p]These new curios interact with the item locking mechanic in fun ways:[/p]
  1. [p]Skeleton Key:
    If you lock an item for 5 rounds, it’s automatically added to your deck![/p]
  2. [p]Music Vault:
    Lets you lock two shop items at the same time.[/p]
  3. [p]Fruitful Tree:
    Locked items get 10% cheaper each round they’re locked![/p]
[h2]🐾 Balancing Notes[/h2][p]After a few runs, it seems like locking items makes the game a bit easier. To balance things out, once you lock an item, you can’t get rid of it unless you buy it.
