Playtest Update #6

Alright, finally an update!
Sorry, I wasn't able to roll an update last week.
I don't want to go into too much detail, but awful things happening in my country, slowed me down a little bit.
It was really difficult to concentrate on... anything.

Well, I'm here now.
Fixed a bunch of bugs, listened to your feedback. Improving the game and slowly heading towards a solid demo version.
Yesterday, an unexpected thing happened. The one and only Aliensrock played my game on youtube.

I wasn't ready for this. I'm getting overwhelmed by the amount of bug reports and feedback but I'm also super excited about it!

  • BUGFIX: the dragonfruit sorbet text after a match looks a bit ugly (it's spread across 3 lines of text)

Playtest Update #5

Hi replicatters!

This week my time was mostly spent on marketing stuff but I was able to do some dev.
Not a big update here but fixed a few bugs and...
Added Color Blind mode.
It's not targeting different color blind types specifically atm, I will do that later.
Right now all I'm doing is I'm adding patterns behind the cards so people can distinguish them.

Playtest Update #4

Hi hi hi!
Quite big update here.

First of all game has been doing great. A few small youtubers played the game and people on discord have been reporting bugs, destroying the game. Overflowing the int!?!?! Really? I played the game 1000 times and haven't managed to do that!

Of course I fixed many many bugs, but let's start with the most important update:

[h2]THE PLAYTEST TOOL[/h2]



You simply type "boratro" anywhere in the game to display the tool.

Then you can;
  • Change the round
  • Modify your money
  • Modify bosses
  • Refresh shop for free
  • Modify your deck, add/remove cards
  • Add/remove curios to your collection
  • Add/remove essences to your collection
  • Unlock all playable decks
  • Immediately win the round


[h2]BALANCE CHANGES[/h2]
Slightly changed the money earning balance!
Nerfed the Level Rewards which was getting super high late game.
Buffed the Welcome Reward and Turns Left rewards.
Hopefully, this will allow players to have more money in the early game and more balanced money in the late game. I also think this will add more meaning to the cards and curios which are bulit around earning money.

Added new bosses and polished the boss appearing sequence!
Now we have cool origami bosses that will challenge you every 3rd round.


[h2]INT OVERFLOW[/h2]

People have been making crazy decks and scoring billion points which overflows the max amount and end up scoring negative points.

I FIXED IT! It's not polished yet so you might end up seeing things like this:


Well, thanks everyone for helping out! We are doing really good and once I feel like I fixed enough bugs and the game is solid enough, I'll plan the content for the demo so we'll be ready for the upcoming Steam Festivals!

Replicat Playtest Update #3

Hey Replicatters!
It's been a good week for me. I received lots of bug reports from the community in our discord.

A few youtubers played the game and I see the number of wishlists going up, makes me happy!

I really enjoyed working on the fancy cards. They were hard to read before, now with some cool shaders, we can read what's written on them but also drag them around to see the cool holographic effects.

Also, we decided to change the visuals of the bosses. They used to be blind drawings of spacey where she received some prompts from Twitch chat and drew these illustrations keeping her eyes closed.

They were really funny as an inside joke but people didn't really understand what they were so we are replacing them, they will be missed:



And we are replacing them with Origami Animals! They will fit very well with the paper-style feel of the game. Someone in our community said they liked the bosses being shiny. For now, these origami bosses won't be shiny but I will consider trying them to be shiny and maybe even call them Shinygamis if that's not gonna violate any Japanese lore lol. So here's a preview of them:




I appreciate the help everyone! I'm improving the game day by day and I still need your help to test the game. Because of its depth and the deckbuilding mechanics, there are many many edge cases which are difficult to reproduce by myself. Reach out and report bugs please

Hey all!
Thanks a lot for testing the Playtest version and the crazy amount of bug reports.
