[p]SHANHAI: Myth Origins — Gameplay Introduction[/p][p][/p][p]SHANHAI: Myth Origins is a co-op roguelike with MOBA-style controls. It features exhilarating combat, a deep and entertaining gear build system, a wide variety of mythic beasts with distinct abilities, and multiple classes that support online co-op.[/p][p][/p][h3]Basic Controls:[/h3][p]
WASD: Move the character
Left Mouse: Main Skill
Right Mouse: Secondary Skill (Secondary requires the weapon to be fused to Green quality to use. Using the Main Skill charges the Secondary; the more charges, the stronger the attack. Maximum 5 charges.)
Space: Dash (dash a short distance)
Q: Ultimate (weapon must be fused to Blue quality)
E: Armor Skill (main armor must reach at least Blue quality and activate after meeting the required number of armor affixes)
C: Rotate an item while dragging (helps with arranging combinations)
R: Use Relic Artifact (place the artifact in the right-side artifact slot)
F: Interact with objects in the scene. (F can also vacuum Shell Coins in a larger area.)[/p][p][/p][h3]Weapons: (currently three)

Role: Close-range area attacks
Main Skill: Sword Qi — attacks enemies in a short frontal area (White quality)
Secondary Skill: Harmonic Slash — attacks enemies at a longer frontal range; more charge = higher damage and longer reach (Green quality)
Ultimate: Myriad Blades — summons countless blades to strike all enemies within range (Blue quality)
Passive: Drunken Breeze — greatly increases melee damage, melee critical chance, and dodge (Purple quality)[/p][p][/p][h3]Staff:[/h3][p]
Role: Long-range explosive attacks
Main Skill: Arcane Orb — attacks enemies in a long straight line (White quality)
Secondary Skill: Explosive Orb — attacks in a straight line and explodes, damaging nearby enemies; more charge = higher damage and a larger blast radius (Green quality)
Ultimate: Spirit Burst — deals three explosive hits to enemies within an area (Blue quality)
Passive: Hundred-Hands Accord — greatly increases ranged damage, max HP, and cast speed (Purple quality)[/p][p][/p][h3]Bow:[/h3][p]
Role: Long-range piercing damage
Main Skill: Arrow Shot — attacks enemies in a long straight line (White quality)
Secondary Skill: Heart-Piercer — attacks in a straight line and pierces all enemies; more charge = higher damage and a larger projectile (Green quality)
Ultimate: Rain of Arrows — continuously attacks enemies within a frontal area (Purple quality)

Profile: Four-piece set; increases overall defense but reduces movement speed
Armor Skill: Heaven-Gang Battle Aura — greatly increases movement speed and gains additional effects based on the Spirit Orb socketed in the main armor (requires main armor at Blue quality and other armor affix counts meeting activation conditions)
Passive: Heaven and Earth Reversal — reflects a portion of damage taken back to the attacker (requires main armor at Purple quality)[/p][p][/p][h3]Nether Set:[/h3][p]
Profile: Three-piece set; increases ranged damage and movement speed
Armor Skill: Spirit Shield — makes the character invincible for a short time and gains additional effects based on the Spirit Orb in the main armor (requires main armor at Blue quality and other armor affix counts meeting activation conditions)
Passive: Extreme Flash — greatly increases dodge (requires main armor at Purple quality)[/p][p][/p][h3]Build Crafting:[/h3][p]
Items of the same type and the same quality can be fused by dragging to create a higher-tier item with stronger power (remove any socketed items before fusing).[/p][p][/p][h3]Inventory:[/h3][p]
All items can be placed in the inventory, but only weapons and armor have direct effects on the character. The weapon in the top-left slot is held in hand; other weapons in the inventory will automatically follow the character and automatically attack nearby enemies.
Armor in the inventory affects the character’s stats. Armor contains affixes; upgrading through fusion can add more affixes. When the required number of affixes is met, the character gains corresponding abilities. When the main armor reaches Blue quality, the character gains an Armor Skill.[/p][p][/p][h3]Relic Artifacts: (currently four)[/h3][p]
Legendary (Orange) Relic Artifacts may appear. Place an artifact in the right-side artifact slot and hold R to use it.
Ruyi Jingu Bang: Attacks enemies within a frontal area, dealing massive damage.
Unbound Flying Ring: Attacks enemies across the entire frontal screen area, dealing massive damage.
Wind-Fixing Pearl: Roots all enemies for a short time; enemies cannot move.
Spirit-Binding Talisman: Converts an enemy into a “General Effigy.”
General Effigy: Summons an effigy of the corresponding enemy to fight for you.
Qiankun Pouch: Has a chance to drop after defeating a Boss; use immediately upon pickup to expand the inventory.[/p][p][/p][h3]Relics:[/h3][p]
Relics provide significant power boosts. They do not occupy backpack or equipment slots, and once picked up, they remain in effect until the end of the stage.[/p][p]Five Elements: Generating and Overcoming[/p][p]The attribute system consists of Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth. Attributes in the Overcoming (countering) cycle deal additional damage; for example: Water overcomes Fire—Water attacks deal heavy bonus damage to Fire, whereas Fire attacking Water deals much less damage. Attributes in the Generating (enhancing) cycle grant large damage bonuses to the generated attribute; for example: Water generates Wood—when a Water character stands close to a Wood character, the Wood character’s attack power increases significantly.
Countering order: Metal overcomes Wood, Wood overcomes Earth, Earth overcomes Water, Water overcomes Fire, Fire overcomes Metal
Generating order: Metal generates Water, Water generates Wood, Wood generates Fire, Fire generates Earth, Earth generates Metal[/p][p][/p][h3]Draw Mechanics:[/h3][p]
