[h3]🧙‍♀️ Welcome back, Witches![/h3][p]We have a lot of new things to share with you in our first update, as well as what's to come![/p][hr][/hr][h3]This is the first update on our 2025 road map for Burger Witch.[/h3][p] In this update, we are experimenting with multiple new things, including the new expanded camera mode for motion sickness, a virtual cursor to fully support the gamepad, and the new cutting counter method to cut items.[/p][hr][/hr][p]

• [p] Added Virtual Cursor to fully support Gamepad players. Accessible via the left stick on a gamepad.[/p]

• [p] The game starts as soon as the player is ready, without a pre-game tutorial, and the player interacts with it to mark themselves ready.[/p]
• [p] Several changes have been made across all kitchens.[/p]
• [p] Multiple Fixes have been made across all UI & Gameplay.

[hr][/hr][p] We're aware of some inconsistent bugs that occasionally happen, and we are determined to detect and fix them as soon as possible. Door physics are also experiencing incorrect collision weights, and we are working on a fix. And we are still evolving the game and working on the following in a separate hotfix update:

• [p] Fixing where two players or more try to drop an item on the same empty counter; it results in immediate destruction of the items, but not visually.[/p]
• [p] In-game name tags above players. [/p]
• [p] Adding more clarification for the potions/boosts in a Steam Guide. [/p]

• [p]Players will now enjoy item interaction animations for better feedback and a more immersive experience.[/p]
• [p]The potion description in the shop will provide clarity on potion effects.[/p]
• [p]A completely replaced village map and lobby environments enhance the game's atmosphere and flow. Name tags will be added above player characters for easier identification during gameplay. This patch aims to set the ground for the next updates.[/p]
• [p]Quality of life will also be a key focus. Players prone to motion sickness can now disable camera motion through a new setting.[/p]
• [p]Inconsistent bug fixes.

A full character customization system will be added, allowing players to select from new characters and tailor their appearances. The kitchen is now fully customizable as well, with a new layout editor that lets players move and replace counters and workstations to fit their preferred cooking setup.[/p]

• [p]Brings a mix of fiery excitement and safety tools to the kitchen. A brand-new fire extinguisher item will be introduced, allowing players to handle unexpected kitchen fires and maintain control during hectic gameplay. This new tool adds a layer of strategy and realism to chaotic cooking scenarios.[/p]
• [p]In addition, two new sauce items, Red Sauce and Yellow Sauce, expand the gameplay with more flavor and variety in meal preparation. Visual enhancements across the game will also be implemented, improving the overall graphics for a cleaner and more immersive experience.[/p]
