v1.05 - Improved Sounds & Updated Music + Drone Radar + Other QoL & Bug Fixes

Hi everyone!

I just pulled an all nighter and managed to get a fairly big update.
Sounds
Due to a complications with a sound tool initially sounds were all very flat, but after resolving it I've been balancing them and they now utilize 3D space, giving a much better feel to the world.
Music
We've preserved the original game's music as the track for the Main Menu and now have a new Synth Wave style track for the gameplay that utilizes a dynamic play mode so it's not always playing and just kinda greets you from time to time.

There is more coming to both sounds and music in an upcoming update, so stay tuned.
Drone Radar
You are now given a Drone Radar from the Kiosk desk, as long as you haven't already purchased the drone. This should be retroactive for current players as well, but please let me know if you have issues.

The radar will begin to beep when you're near a drone, and a UI element will show the direction you can find it in.
Mouse Sensitivity
Thanks to feedback we were able to improve mouse sensitivity to hopefully be more universal across all devices, but again if you have any issues let us know!
Kiosk Notifications and Dialogue
There are now notifications that pop up over the heads of the Gnome in the Kiosk and the fairy behind it when they have something worth saying. There are only a couple instances, but it helps with general direction.

There are also now prompts presented before you move on to a point where you enter the final events of the game which can lock you out of some aspects.

We will have more improvements coming as well.
Various Bug Fixes
As we've been getting feedback, we've been squashing different bugs, some small, a couple large...and honestly the input we've gotten from people playing has been amazing.

One major one was sorted out for people who couldn't break their boilers if they talked to the fairy while it bugged out, and then exited and loaded back into the game. This should be a retroactive fix and you can continue on.

If you experience any issues with the latest update, drop by the Discord and we'll get it sorted!

Thanks again everyone, happy chopping!

v 1.042 - More Settings + Fixes

Hi everyone! What a busy 2 days post-launch.

A common request has been more settings, and I've been taking them down, and was able to introduce them in this update.

I have also made it so that the Amber Drops are now persistent through saves, whether you delete your save and start over, or you beat the game.

Another change is we increased the speed of chopping while holding the chop button. You get a bonus speed if you click when the cursor turns gold, which is a perfect swing and essentially goes right into the next swing without delay, but this makes it easier for those who don't wish to wear themselves out.

I will be bringing in Save Slots soon, and Amber Drops will be saved between them as well.

Please let me know if you have any issues! Thanks.
Setting
• Mouse/Look Sensitivity
 • Invert Y-Axis
 • FOV
 • Fullscreen, Borderless, Windowed modes
 • VSync Toggle
Other
• Increased the speed of chopping when holding the chop button.
 • Persistent Saves
 • Fixed a Bug That Broke Controller Navigation On Maxed Stats

v1.041 Hotfix - Missing Trees +

Hi everyone, a quick hotfix for this morning.

A few players have found to be missing some trees, and that they were spawning in floating and inaccessible positions.

This hotfix addresses this, and so the next time you load in the game the 12 missing trees will get cut down, you will get both the tree count and the $ for them.

Apologies for this inconvenience, and I appreciate the feedback!
Energy Drinks
Energy drinks have been adjusted as well. To make them more relevant to strategy and not too overpowered there is now a max of 10 allowed, and they cost $50 instead of $25.

For any amount of drinks you have over 10, you should see a refund for their collective value when you load in.

v1.04 - Unstick + Other Fixes

First, thanks for all of the support for the game! We're really happy you are all enjoying playing Lumberjacked.
Stuck Moving Left
We'd like to address one issue a few users have been having where the character seems to be stuck moving left. After extensive testing with another user, we've come to find that the issue ended up being a piece of software they had installed called "vJoy virtual joystick driver," and after uninstalling it worked fine. This points to potential a conflict between it and Unity.

If you're having this issue as well, please check to see if you have this software or similar.
Unsticking
You may experience a point where you get stuck in the game. You can now open the Pause Menu and click "Unstick" which will then drop your logs and warp you back to the cabin, just outside of the bed.
Jail Cell
We've had a report that one player was out of stamina when captured and sent to the cell, and couldn't chop any trees to leave. You can now rest at the bed in the cell, and recover your stamina.
Lantern Bug
Some users experience a bug where their lantern wasn't purchased properly, some had the same at the drone shop. While we don't 100% have verification yet, because the bug seemed sporadic, we do believe to have targeted the issue. Please let us know if it's still not working for you!

Thanks again everyone, every bit of feedback helps us improve the game for you guys, so keep the feedback coming!
Fixes
• Added Unstick option to Pause Menu
 • Addressed an issue with the lantern and drone shops.
 • Can now recharge stamina at the jail cell bed
 • Various other fixes and tweaks

v1.011 Cursor Hotfix+

First, thank you all so much for the active start of this game's release! We really hope you are all enjoying playing around and chopping away at the forest.

We've noticed a variety of issues with cursors not being active when they need to be when using Mouse & Keyboard.

This patch should address these issues.

We really appreciate the feedback and helping to make this the best experience we can!
Fixes
• Improves behaviour of cursor visibility in menus
 • Fixed an issue with the drones max levels
