Haunted Harvest!
[p]Introducing the first annual Haunted Harvest in-game event! This limited-time seasonal event runs from 11th October to 31st of October each year to help get you in the spooky Halloween spirit![/p][p][/p][p]Just like you Coloring Pixels veterans are used to this time of year, we are giving you a darker colour palette, decorations lying around, and some evil fire, but this time all in 3D![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Coloring Voxels V1.8.3 Patch Notes
New Features
• [p]New "Seasonal Effects" setting (Default to On) - This setting allows you to disable the new seasonal effects that are implemented. Starting with this month's Haunted Harvest event, we intend to implement many others during events for winter and Easter, similar to those in our other games! [/p]
Bug Fixes and Misc
• [p]Nothing visible yet, but we have done a lot of backend work in preparation for Dark Mode, which we hope to deliver soon.[/p]
[p][/p]
Halloween DLC
[p]Our incredible Patreon members voted for this month's DLC to be Halloween-themed! Coming this Friday. So get ready to get spooked in this horror and trick-or-treat themed world! [/p][p]Our artist, Jack, loves Halloween, so he has had a lot of fun making this one, and it really shows! You know the drill by now; wishlist the DLC here![/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]- With some particularly spooky love, the ToastieLabs team

Patch Notes

Something to tackle 🎣 the underwater levels!
[p]We have implemented a middle-ground solution to address the performance issues as quickly as possible. Check your settings menu to play underwater without the frame drops! Thank you for your patience whilst we continue to improve the game performace and feel.[/p][p][/p]
Coloring Voxels V1.7.3 Patch Notes
New Features
• [p]New "Hide Non-Essential Voxels" Setting (Default Off) - When enabled, this setting lets you automatically skip some of the colours in a level that are flagged as non-essential. Currently, this setting only affects the Underwater world. In which case, all of the water is flagged so that people can choose to skip the laborious water sections and just focus on the focal point of the level. This setting should also help drastically improve the performance of the underwater level for most levels, as the voxel count is lowered significantly.[/p]
Bug Fixes and Misc
• [p]In the language setting dropdown, changed the text for the Norwegian "norsk" to "Norsk" to better match the naming convention set by other languages.[/p]
 • [p]In the language setting dropdown, changed the Korean "한국인" to "한국어" for better clarity.[/p]
 • [p]Fixed a bug where you couldn't scroll to the top of some worlds in the main menu.[/p]
 • [p]Updated Unity version to address a security concern. More info can be found here.[/p]

Voxel Art Competition Reminder

[p][/p]
Only a few days to go!
[p]Reminder, or update for those of you who missed the news, that we have a Voxel Art competition running right now, where you can create and submit your very own voxel art for the chance of it being added to the game in a free update![/p][p]Even if you haven't made voxel art before, if you've played Minecraft, LEGO, or any other block building game, you can do it! Check out full details on the competition and how to submit here:[/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]Deadline is the 10th of October, so make sure you get your submissions in on time![/p][p][/p]
Examples
[p]We realise that making voxel art, while a lot more rewarding and fun, can feel a bit more complicated. That's why each of us at ToastieLabs has made some quick examples for you to look at to see what kind of thing we are looking for.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]If we have never made Voxel art before making Coloring Voxels, and can make these, you can too![/p][p][/p][p]Download them here for a closer look:[/p][p]https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/13Xtv7QVn1EwWSytlbwFkVauHjoBURoC_?usp=drive_link[/p][p]
Bonus points if you can guess which was made by our Artist Jack, Designer Lee or Programmer Rob.[/p][p][/p]
Submit Here
Patch Notes

Back again with more improvements!
[p]After a couple of weeks' break to give our other games some much-needed attention, and for our programmer to take some time off work to give himself some much-needed attention, we're back with another update addressing bugs and feature requests all taken on board from you, our amazing community![/p][p][/p][p]We still have Dark Mode and Performance Issues as a high priority from your reporting, so don't worry, you are being heard, and these will be coming in due course! 💖[/p][p][/p]
Coloring Voxels V1.6.3 Patch Notes
New Features
• [p]You can now press "F" to focus the camera and reset it to the default view.[/p]
 • [p]New Hide Worlds Setting (Defaulted to None) - This slider lets you hide completed worlds from the main menu if you have completed them. Like in Coloring Pixels, it also supports various levels of New Game+ + for those completionists out there![/p]
 • [p]Selecting a colour with the number keys now supports selecting the Eraser by either entering 00 or shift + 0.[/p]
 • [p]Selecting a colour with the number keys now dynamically changes the number of digits required based on the number of colours in the level. Numbers over 99 are now supported (creating a third digit to enter), and levels with fewer than 10 colours only require 1 number to be entered and don't need a leading 0.[/p]
 • [p]Added support for the Norwegian (Bokmål) language! - A huge thank you to our community translators who made this possible ❤️[/p][p][/p]
Bug Fixes and Misc
• [p]Fixed a bug where uncompleted layers would not render properly if you switched to a higher layer.[/p]
 • [p]Sliders in the settings screen now cover the full width of the UI. This makes readability much easier for some localisations and allows better precision when using them.[/p]
 • [p]Fixed a bug where the new game plus popup would overrun in some languages.[/p]
 • [p]If you have toggle click enabled and decide to click and hold for a whole layer, completing the layer will no longer make you click again.[/p]
 • [p]Entering a colour with the number keys is now more responsive, so you don't have to wait for the box to time out before beginning to enter the next number. This change will hopefully make the feature much easier to use and the game faster to play.[/p]
 • [p]Updated Patreon list on Credits page.[/p]
