Marvel's Midnight Suns, the new strategy game from XCOM developer Firaxis that trades out soldiers and percentages for superheroes and a deck of cards, almost had Deadpool as a character in the base game, but the team decided against it as they were worried he'd end up a dominant presence in the game's story.
