Waste Walkers,

Hey everyone!

Like my other two games, Lawless Lands and Disgraced, I have added gamepad and controller support for Waste Walkers!

It's been a long time coming, but I finally had time to really investigate this and get it sorted.

It's not perfect, but I've done a lot of testing with my xbox-360/xbox-one controller and it's working.

IN ORDER TO TOGGLE BETWEEN KEYBOARD OR GAMEPAD, THERE IS A FILE IN THE GAME'S INSTALL DIRECTORY CALLED "gamepad.txt"!

TYPING "1" INTO THE FILE WILL ENABLE THE GAMEPAD AND DISABLE THE ADVANCED KEYBOARD SUPPORT.

TYPING "0" INTO THE FILE WILL ENABLE THE ADVANCED KEYBOARD SUPPORT AND DISABLE THE GAMEPAD.

BASED ON ENGINE LIMITATIONS, THIS IS THE ONLY WAY I HAVE FOUND TO DO THIS.

YOU MAY NEED TO RUN THE GAME AS ADMINISTRATOR FOR THIS TO WORK.

This change applies to the game and the expansions!

Update 2.0.5 Change Log:

Changes & Additions:
-Added "gamepad.txt" File to the Install Directory with a Default Setting of "0" (the gamepad is disabled and the advanced keyboard is enabled / setting to "1" will reverse the effect)
-Added a Default Control Scheme for Gamepads

You should NOT need to start a new game.

Hey everyone!

I wanted to quick share this here because it's some exciting news!

I just finished my final classes and have officially graduated with my bachelor's in Computer Science of Game Programming and Development and have been awarded summa com laude! (steam censors that middle word - replace the o with a u - the award means I graduated in the top 5%) Woohoo! :-)

My immediate plan is to finally get to finishing up the expansion for Lawless Lands - Unrest - and then figure out what I'll do next. I have been working a lot with the Unreal Engine so maybe I'll be doing some work with that.
