I'm posting this here so that everybody who plays our games has a chance to see it in case they're interested.

The wait is over! Lawless Lands Unrest is now available! It's been a long time in development, but the expansion is finally finished!

There were a bunch of patches released yesterday during testing, so it should be all set for everyone to enjoy, but as always, if you have any issues just let me know. The main game also received a patch for a typo that was found while testing the expansion.

"The Devil's Harvest, 347... It began as only harrowing rumors from abroad, but a foul blight has come and infected most of the crops throughout the Sagerovian countryside. Following its arrival, a plague struck down nearly everyone in its path, leaving the survivors to clean up the mess of their fallen society... With the armies off, fighting in the war against Stothlheim, Sagerov is left scarcely defended and outlying settlements are helpless, and prime targets for callous invaders... An old and all-but-forgotten foe, hailing from the eastern steppes, the Horde has set its sights on the lonely farms and plague-weakened villages, leaving nothing but smoke, bodies, and ash, in their wake... Among those villages, Ravlova, resting in the Strastobol region, is a small and insignificant farming community, where people work from dawn till dusk, just to earn even a meager living. Two in particular are a husband and wife, Kolyask and Ridina, who're local farmers with a family, but they're also part of their village's militia. Charged with protecting their land and their neighbors, they are the last line of defense... This is their story..."

-Combat Training World Modifier EXP Reduction changed from 20% to only 10% (It was too high of a loss for it to be worthwhile/fair)

This is a QOL update and also to implement the upcoming Chaotic Wastes Expansion DLC.

Update 2.1.0 Change Log:

Changes & Additions:
-Reorganized the intro text to be more easily readable
-Expanded the intro background image to fit the entire screen
-Tinted the intro image to better fit the game
-Set a specific music track for the intro scene
-Added some additional help text to character creation
-Added handlers for the incoming Chaotic Wastes Expansion
-Added 11 different World Modifiers for the Chaotic Wastes Expansion

Now let's look at the expansion details.

"Chaotic Wastes Expansion DLC:

The Chaotic Wastes Expansion for Waste Walkers adds an extra system for replayability and for creating unique playthroughs and challenges. The system will randomly select 3 of 11 possible world modifiers that each have a unique effect on gameplay and the game world. These may be rerolled up to 5 times so you can choose which ones you want to play with. It can either be activated by starting a new game, or by simply accessing your personal stash in your home.

• Chaotic Combat: All hit point damage in battle can be up to 2 points higher.
  
• Prepper: Start at level 2, but enemies may also start 1 level higher.
  
• Sadism: All criticals count for 3x damage instead of the standard 2x damage.
  
• SSDD: No effects good or bad. You got lucky.
  
• Slim Pickings: All enemies have 10% less health, but 5% more accuracy and evasion.
  
• Contamination: All pre-bomb food items give radiation, but are more abundant.
  
• Lonely Road: You cannot have a companion (at least until you gain the leadership trait), but your character gains several buffs.
  
• Mad Mutants: All mutants gain 15 bonus initiative and 5% critical chance, but lose 10% hit points and morale.
  
• Skillful: Gain 10% more experience, but enemies are 10% more likely to target you.
  
• Desolate: It is much more likely to storm and weather changes more rapidly.
  
• Combat Training: You gain 5% accuracy and evasion, but earn 20% less experience.
  

*For those of you who have played our fourth game, Lawless Lands, this is essentially an expansion to add the same type of Campaign Modifier system which Lawless Lands had. This was one of the most praised features in that game, so it has also been added to Waste Walkers.*

PLEASE NOTE: IN ORDER TO ACTIVATE THIS PACK, YOU MUST ACCESS YOUR PERSONAL STASH INSIDE YOUR HOME OR BEGIN A NEW GAME. YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO START A NEW GAME, BUT THIS WILL ACTIVATE AUTOMATICALLY WHENEVER YOU DO - DURING CHARACTER CREATION!"

The expansion will be available for $2.99 or your local equivalent in a few days!
