Updated the build with minor fixes

Hello fellow explorers!

We´re not really getting any bug reports from you, which is of course a really good sign, but we figured there would have to be some thing that end up going wrong, and now we don't really know what to do ;)

We did find one thing today that we really wanted to fix asap:

What in this update?
- A fix concerning the final sequence; The doors may have been open for some players while entering the last section, resulting in an unintended shortcut of the last bit of the experience, and as a result preventing something from being possible that we won't spoil here.
- Also fixed that the Restart World button in the pauze menu is really only visible when intended.

Known Issues:
- Steam Cloud doesn't work for OS X, due to the + character. We're investigating if a workaround is possible, but didn't want to let Windows players wait for it.
- Achievements may not appear in your activity feed. We suspect it is because they're all hidden.

Metrico+ is out now!

When we started Digital Dreams we were just 3 guys making stuff that we loved. We’re incredibly grateful that Sony picked us up ~4 years ago. Back then we didn’t even know yet what the world of Metrico would look like and how it would work. All we had was this scruffy prototype, but Sony had faith in us and the game, and helped making it into an actual game that is coming out today on PlayStation 4 and Steam.

Making it big

Like so many of you, we grew up with some awe-inspiring games. We’ve had so many fantastic games and experiences that we will never forget: games like Rez, Metal Gear Solid, Journey or Shadow of the Colossus are just a few of a very long list of games that made a big impression on us. It’s what inspired us to start a company with one goal in mind: make original game experiences no one ever experienced before. When looking back, now that our studio has released our first game on Steam and PlayStation 4 (and Xbox One pending), we can honestly say this is a dream coming true.

Our personal journeys

While working on Metrico+, we obviously experienced a lot personally as well. Lots of things changed for us in the meantime: Relationships came and went, we had to move offices and homes and we all grew a little older and wiser.

The company changed as well. We worked with lots of different people to make Metrico+ possible. Most moved out when their work was finished, some stayed, but all had one thing in common: We all became close friends. As game developers, particularly on lengthy projects such as Metrico+, all of these personal endeavours become part of the experience you’re creating. It’s this weird symbiosiss between your personal and professional lives that is difficult to put into words. It’s what makes it so difficult but also satisfying to release a game.

This is for the Players

Anyway, without sounding too cheesy, we can honestly say the players are the reason why we can make these original games. We can’t wait to show you the next world that we’re creating. But for now, we really hope you enjoy the quirky world that is Metrico+.

We've tested the game through and through, with the help of a few hundred people here on Steam, to whom we're very thankful, and the game feels really solid.

We'd also like take this opportunity to thank Enzo and his friends at the Steam Translator Lounge, who made sure everyone is able to understand what the game is about, in their own language here on the store page.


Only 3 more weeks, during which we'll be making sure everyone's experience will be as smooth as possible, while also try and relax a little after last months' crunching period. We've used the beta forum up to now, but will start populating the general forums to answer any questions you may have.

We hope you're looking much forward to playing, as we are to hearing your reactions and thoughts.
