10,800 copies in 6 days?!
[p]When we released Loan Shark, we thought it would be a small, quiet launch, just a fun way to learn how to publish our first game on Steam. We had no budget, no publisher, and only 3 months to make it. Honestly, we didn’t expect much.[/p][p]But here we are, six days later, with over 10,800 copies sold and a ton of amazing messages, reviews, and videos from all of you. I mean, the game is in the Top Sellers tab here on Steam![/p][p] We can’t even explain how much this means to us.[/p][p][/p]
What’s next?
[p]Your feedback has been incredible, and we’re putting it to good use in two ways:[/p][p][/p][p]A patch for Loan Shark We’re working on fixing some of the most common issues you’ve mentioned, like the boat timer running out but the boat not arriving to port, the janky knife, the spinning camera, and more. I’m holding off on releasing it right away because I want to bundle a bunch of fixes together at once, to minimize the chance of breaking something else in the process.[/p][p][/p][p]Making the next game even better
Every bit of feedback about Loan Shark is going straight into our next project, like how much everyone seems to desire having multiple endings. We’re keeping what worked, improving what didn’t, and aiming to deliver something even more polished.[/p][p][/p][p]Once again, thank you for supporting us. You’ve turned our first little experiment into something unforgettable.[/p][p][/p][p]Stay tuned, both the patch and news about our next game are coming soon.[/p][p][/p][p]Nicola[/p][p]Studio Carota[/p]
