Fixed main menu issue

Some players weren't able to select the main menu options with their mouse. That should be fixed now!

🚨 Important Notice for AMD Graphics Card Users🚨
TL;DR
[p][/p]

[p][/p][p]Hello everyone![/p][p]After yesterday's launch, we’ve soon become aware of a serious graphics issue affecting some players using AMD graphics cards. This issue causes invisible or flashing textures on the main menu and in-game, and even some crashes.[/p][p]This is not a bug in Loan Shark itself, but rather a problem introduced in AMD’s latest graphics driver update (version 25.8.1) that has also broken many other games made with the Godot engine.[/p][p][/p][p]See here:[/p][p][/p]

[p][/p]
Possible fixes
[p]Until AMD releases a patch, you have two options:[/p]
 1. [p]Roll back to the previous AMD driver version. This should fix the issue, although it doesn't seem to work for everyone. A quick Google search will bring up guides for rolling back AMD drivers — here’s one example from the community: https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/s/Fv4H02FKoC[/p]
 2. [p]Report the bug directly to AMD. We're guessing the more reports they get, the faster they’ll fix it: https://www.amd.com/en/resources/support-articles/faqs/AMDBRT.html[/p]
[p][/p]

[p][/p]
We'll keep you posted!
[p]As soon as AMD releases an update that resolves the issue, we’ll post another announcement and let you know you can safely update your drivers again and/or buy Loan Shark if you wanted to play it. Be sure to follow to game to receive updates.[/p][p]We're sorry to those of you affected. We’ve tried implementing workarounds on our side, but unfortunately that causes other problems and is too risky to do haphazardly.[/p][p]If you stick with us and apply the fix above, Loan Shark should run exactly as intended. Thank you for your patience and for supporting our game even through hiccups like this.[/p][p]

2000k wishlists and still rising!

[p]Dear fisherpeople.[/p][p][/p][p]We didn't believe we would write this new announcement so close to the previous one about the thousand milestone. Yet here we are, celebrating another major (and unexpected) accomplishment of Loan Shark.[/p][p][/p][p]As many of you may know, one of our TikTok short video went viral a couple of days ago (you can find it here). It generated an incredible boost in visibility, and is probably the main cause behind this incredible spike in popularity.[/p][p][/p][p]The short is still going strong on TikTok and the wishlists are still piling up. We couldn't be happier, really. And a little overwhelmed, too. [/p][p][/p][p]In the meantime, the Loan Shark has almost got to the release date. We are really really really really excited about this.I f you want to help us increase momentum, please share the Steam page and wishlist the game, if you haven't.[/p][p][/p][p]Go fish (and wishlist) before it's too late.[/p][p][/p][p]Luca,[/p][p]Studio Carota[/p][p][/p][p][/p]

Building Loan Shark

[p]Hey everyone![/p][p]We just published a new article on our devlog:[/p][p]
📝 "Using Daily Notes for lightweight, indie-friendly Game Design documentation"[/p][p][/p][p]It's a behind-the-scenes look at how we design Loan Shark as a two-person team.[/p][p]Instead of using a traditional GDD, we keep our process fast, messy, and effective with daily design notes in Obsidian.md. We log playtest results, sketch ideas, track tasks, and document decisions as we go. The system is minimal, async-friendly, and reflects how we actually work.[/p][p][/p][p]Read it here
[/p][p]Let us know what you think, and if you’ve got your own hacks for keeping design clear and creative, we’d love to hear them.

LOAN SHARK REACHES 1000 WISHLISTS

[p]Fisherpeople, we made it![/p][p][/p][p]Much to our surprise, we caught a lot of wishlists in our net during the night, and we finally got to 1000 wishlists here on Steam![/p][p][/p][p]This is huge for us, for Studio Carota. Loan Shark was meant to be a simple experiment to release a game on Steam, but it's turned into so much more. Thank you for everyone who took the time to discover our little game. The release date is close, and we are working on the finishing touches.[/p][p][/p][p]Meanwhile, the numbers are still growing, much like your debt to the Loan Shark. If you want to put a patch on that, try the demo and start grinding towards freedom.[/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]Then, you may hit the wishlist button and join your fellow fisherpeople amid the jaws of the Loan Shark![/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]Go fish and enjoy your day![/p][p]Luca[/p][p]Studio Carota[/p]
