Patch 0.9.99 is going down well, a lot of people are enjoying it however it's not without its problems. This patch is made to solve those problems.
I've been playing a lot of Nomad recently and I've found a few core problems, not including server related stuff but related to the crafting system. Crafting needs to be sorted out, so this patch aims to address some of these core problems.
Here is what's new, changed and fixed.

A lot of core items are missing from the crafting tab, which makes people having to rely on going out in the world and finding it. This is pretty boring, especially when everything is totally random.
When you log in, you will now find more crafting options in the crafting tab in the inventory screen. New tools, new food, and more. Some of the older crafting recipes also changed too, for better balance.
Many new food recipes have been added to expand the farming portion of Nomad. These new farming crafted food items are some of the best value food in the game, so be sure to start growing plants!

A big source of lag came with how much data Nomad was sending and receiving to each client. I've done some big changes and compressed most data streams so it's not such an impact on the networking side. This should dramatically reduce lag, network spikes and increase client & server performance.

- Mipmap streaming is now disabled on all presets and default settings. If you are running into GPU memory issues, enable this option (note that it will impact FPS and CPU Usage)

- Zombies that are spawned during the night now delete on sunrise the next day
- Significantly reduced network strain on player damage
- Significantly reduced network strain on structure damage
- Significantly reduced network packet size on zombie movement

- Tooltip for Small Storage Chest updated
- Tooltip for Large Storage Chest updated
- New loading tips added
- Tomato Soup renamed to Tinned Tomato Soup so it's not confused with the new food crafting items
- Zombie Poison Gas particle emission reduced to 40, down from 80

- Spawning Zombies around players now have a 30% chance at night to happen every hour
- You can now craft Hammers
- You can now craft Pickaxes
- You can now craft Fire Axes
- Default tab for crafting is now the Building Tab
- Added friction to all items so they don't slide down terrain
- Dew Catcher health is now 200, up from 50
- Zombie Poison Gas is 80x80x10 in size, down from 100x100x10
- Zombie Poison Gas tick damage reduced to 3, down from 4
- Medical Pack crafting recipe changed to 1x Bandage & 1x Blood Bag
- Rebalanced all food and drink items. The best food items are craftable
- Refilling Empty Water Bottles at Dew Catchers now gives Dirty Water. Purify this by cooking inside of a campfire
