Final results are now displayed after the demo ends!

[p]Hello[/p][p][/p][p]A lot of players have been asking for some sort of feedback or results that show if their choices during the demo were right, wrong or somewhere in between. Patch v0.14 fixes that! At the end of the demo, you'll get an idea of how you did - [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Note that this is just a quick fix for the demo. The full game will have more "in-universe" ways of conveying to the player if they're on the right track - changes in the house, random hauntings, corruption or possession of the SpectralAware software... (the options are open, I haven't 100% decided yet!)[/p][p][/p][p]Updates to the demo will be slower from here on out (unless there are big game breaking bugs) as I now return my focus on making the full game and getting it to you as soon as possible! :)[/p][p][/p][p]Thanks for playing and for the support![/p][p][/p][p]- Armaan[/p]

[p][/p][p]More fixes coming soon. Thanks for playing![/p][p][/p][p]- Armaan[/p]

Patch v0.11 and upcoming fixes

[p]Hi![/p][p][/p][p]Thank you so much for playing the Shutter Story demo and for the amazing feedback so far! I'm so happy to see this idea resonating with people that are as into slow burn horror as I am :)[/p][p][/p][p]Based on the feedback, I've made a few urgent fixes, with a few more to follow soon:[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Fixed the confusing start to the game with the chair hotspot being small and hard to see. Increased hotspot size and added a dialogue hint to guide the player.[/p]
  • [p]Improved Uncle Thomas' character model (particularly the shirt)[/p]
  • [p]Small visual improvements[/p]
  • [p]Moved printer hotspot to the PC[/p]
[p]Upcoming changes in the next patch - [/p]
  • [p]Options menu with various graphics and sound settings.[/p]
  • [p]Reduction of false positives in photos.[/p]
[p]Further improvements such as a feedback system for the correctness % of the answers, filter and slider controls when observing a photo in full screen, and font sizes for easier readability on TVs are planned but will take a bit of time due to their complexity so I can't share a timeline for those yet.[/p][p][/p][p]Thanks again for playing, and for the amazing support so far![/p][p][/p][p]- Armaan[/p]

Controller support added to the demo!

[p]Hi![/p][p][/p][p]Excited to announce that the Shutter Story demo now has full controller support! A number of you played the demo on a Steam Deck or on the PC with the controller plugged in, this turned out to be a difficult experience especially in the SpectralAware UI sections without official controller support. This should be a much more pleasant experience now :) Check out the control mappings below:[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]It's now quite intuitive and fun to use a controller for analyzing photos if I may say so myself! Let me know if you have any feedback regarding the controls, or if you run into any bugs related to it.[/p][p][/p][p]- Armaan[/p]
