Hello to all the lovely Anglers on the Fishing Planet!

We extend a warm invitation to the Crappie Valentine Cup Tournament coming up from February 13th to February 18th, with registration starting on February 12th, just a day before the action kicks off.

Get ready for an adventure filled with fun, prizes, and the chance to become the Crappie Valentine Champion! Win Credits, BaitCoins, cool fishing tackles, and, of course, the fame and glory!

For those new to the game, signing up for the tournament gets you access to all the Tournament waterways, no matter your level in the game. Plus, the registration fee covers all the licenses you need to catch qualifying fish in the tournament states. It's a perfect opportunity to explore new fishing spots!

Here's the tournament schedule:

• February 12th: Registration starts
  
• February 13th: Qualifier 1 at Mudwater River, Missouri.
  
• February 14th: Qualifier 2 at Lake Rocky, Colorado.
  
• February 15th: Qualifier 3 at San Joaquin Delta, California.
  
• February 17th: Semifinals at Quanchkin Lake, Louisiana.
  
• February 18th: Grand Finale at Neherrin River, North Carolina.
  

Now, let's talk rules.
We've recently joined the Epic Games Store, which means you can play against folks on Steam too!
Here's the most important part: you can have Fishing Planet accounts on both platforms, but you can only use one Fishing Planet account per device for tournaments.
We know gaming with family is awesome, but for tournaments, each family member should play on their own device. If you share a device, just pick one person to compete.

We've just implemented a minor bug fix and introduced some small improvements. Here's a quick rundown of what we've addressed:

✅️Stuck Cheesy Cats Competition HUD on MacOS has been successfully resolved.
✅️ The issue causing the bass boat control to block has been fixed.
✅️ Resolved the game freeze that occurred after equipping X-Series Carolina Rig, X-Series Bullet Sinker, and X-Series Flat Spoon.
✅️ Club Points Visibility: The number of club points received for caught fish has changed to white color from green, enhancing visibility for players.
✅️ Gamepad Scrolling: Minor fixes have been applied.
✅️ Challenge Complete overlays have undergone a UI redesign.

The excitement and drive was almost too much even for the vast open space of Lake Saint-Croix, but now that it’s over and we calculated your scores and results with a very cool head, we give you 10 names of our WPT prize-winning finalists, and at the top of the list - the 3 Winter Pike Champions who will be forever remembered as glorious winners of the WPT 2022! It's time to join us for the annual Winter Pike Tour, an exhilarating sportfishing Tournament dedicated to the pursuit of landing those hefty Pike!

Embark on a thrilling Pike fishing adventure in three Qualifiers and a Semifinal, across four different locations, from the serene Quanchkin Lake in Louisiana to the picturesque Mudwater River and the scenic White Moose and Emerald Lakes. Aim for the Grand Finale on Michigan's Saint-Croix Lake. Become the ultimate Pike Fishing Champion, win valuable prizes, and, most importantly, have fun!

The Winter Pike Tour is scheduled from January 16th to 21st, with registration opening on January 15th at 6PM UTC, 24 hours before the commencement of the First Qualifier.

Here's the detailed schedule for the Winter Pike Tour:

• 15th of January: Registration for the WPT Tournament begins.
  
• 16th of January: Qualifier 1 on Louisiana’s Quanchkin Lake.
  
• 17th of January: Qualifier 2 on Mudwater River in Missouri.
