Greetings, our dearest fishing community! This March, you will witness (and some of you even directly participate in) a truly historical event. Fishing Planet will hold its first bottom fishing tournament, World Cats Cup! Remember to register for this unique opportunity and take part in the new competitive event.

Have fun competing with other players and trying to catch the biggest fish! You will go on an exciting journey starting in North America, traveling through Europe, and finally reaching the waters of South America!

Fight for fame, recognition, and a prize pool of many Credits, BaitCoins, and unique fishing tackle, and most importantly — for the title of the first bottom fishing Champion!

The tournament will last from March 15 through 20, with registration starting on March 14, one day before the first qualifying game.

Here’s the tournament schedule:

• March 15: Qualifier 1 at Saint Croix Lake in Michigan.
  
• March 16: Qualifier 2 on the beautiful Sander Baggersee Lake in Germany.
  
• March 17: Qualifier 3 on the swampy shores of Quanchkin Lake in Louisiana.
  
• March 19: Semifinal on the tropical banks of the Marron River in Bolivia.
  
• March 20: Tournament Final in the winding streams of the Amazonian Maze in Brazil.

As many of you know major part of our team is located in Ukraine. On February 24th our reality has changed dramatically as Russia started full flagged war against Ukraine. Most of our team members woke up from explosions on the street and since then our life will never be the same.

Sorry for not getting in touch earlier, our primarily focus has been to take care of our team and families and get them to safety. We are monitoring the situation closely and adapting to the changes as quickly as possible.Though part of our team still remains in Kyiv, we manage to maintain the necessary viable operation. However the response time from our team might slow down, given the circumstances.

Russian invasion is an outrageous act of violence in the modern world. We are experiencing missile strikes on civil buildings in Kyiv and almos all cities in Ukraine, air raid sirens are going off not stop all over Ukraine. Killing civilians, shooting ambulances and bombing kindergartens and hospitals - these are some of humanitarian crimes Russia has conducted over the last 5 days.

We can’t remain indifferent and will support our nation and army in all ways possible. We believe in our armed forces and the bravery of our men and women. Ukraine will always fight for its freedom and independence!
