We would like to inform the community that in approximately three weeks, the Akhtuba River location will be removed from the game. To ensure a smooth transition, we have prepared a comprehensive compensation plan for all players affected by this change:

Relocation and Refunds

• All players present at the Akhtuba River location at the time of its removal will be transferred to the Global Map.
  
• Any travel expenses, unused paid stay costs, and boat rental fees for this location will be refunded in full.
  

Keepnet Fish

• If you have fish in your keepnets at the time of removal, they will be automatically sold, and the credits will be added to your account.
  

License Refunds

• Players with active licenses for the Akhtuba River location will be compensated for any unused days.
  
• For players with unlimited licenses, the full cost of the license will be refunded.
  

Marker Buoy Reimbursement

• Any Marker Buoys used at this location will be returned to you and made available for use at other locations
  

Achievement and Mission Completion

• Achievements in progress at the Akhtuba River location will be marked as completed.
  
• Players in the middle of completing the exploration mission for this location will also have the mission marked as completed.
  

All compensations will be processed automatically, and your in-game balance will be updated to reflect the adjustments outlined above. If you have any questions, feel free to contact [email protected], we will be happy to help.

[/h2]Our journey begins at Lone Star Lake, where your first task is to discover the Horn of Plenty, or Cornucopia. Once you find it, you'll unlock a series of missions that will guide you in preparing all the delicious holiday dinner dishes and setting up the perfect Thanksgiving feast at Lone Star Lake.

To start cooking every dish, you’ll first need to find the magical Cauldron at each event location. Once you do, you will receive tasks that will guide you in gathering all the ingredients necessary to create a variety of delicious fish-inspired dishes.

Start your journey at Lone Star with the delectable Assorted Fish Platter, then venture to Lesnivila for the savory Stuffed Carp. Don’t miss out on the delightful Fish Pie waiting for you at Mudwater!



As you explore, treat your taste buds to the rich flavors of Trout Sashimi at Rocky Lake, prepare the perfectly Grilled Carp at Neherrin, and warm up with a bowl of Festive Fish Soup at Ghent Terneuzen.
Continue your gastronomic exploration by uncovering the tempting Smoked Trophies at Tiber, indulging in Gefilte Fish at Quanchkin, savoring the flavorful Trout Tacos at Saint Croix, and experiencing the exotic Chinese-style Carp at San Joaquin.

Today is a deeply meaningful day for us as a Ukrainian team, and we’re excited to share a special announcement close to our hearts. We want to pull back the curtain on our upcoming location—the mighty Dnipro River near Kherson, Ukraine, a place of incredible natural beauty and resilience.

Many of you know about the ongoing war in Ukraine. In February 2022, russia launched a full-scale invasion, occupying parts of the East and South of Ukraine. Kherson, a southern city close to the vast Dnipro River, was seized in the early days of the invasion. For nine long months, the people of Kherson lived under oppression, yet they never gave up. They resisted, they protested, and on November 11, 2022, the city was liberated by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Even today, though, Kherson remains under constant missile threat.

The Dnipro River, a symbol of Ukraine’s strength, flows through Kherson, and we’ve long dreamed of creating a Ukrainian location inspired by the landscapes and spirit of our home. We wanted to preserve and share its beauty as it was in times of peace. Sadly, the war has scarred this place; in their retreat, russian forces destroyed a major dam, flooding vast areas and triggering an ecological disaster.

In the face of this, we’re determined to honor the spirit of Ukraine and the enduring beauty of the Dnipro. Our upcoming location captures the river’s serenity and vibrancy before all the destruction, offering you a chance to experience a place that means the world to us. It’s a place our team has known and loved since childhood, filled with memories and a connection to the natural wonders that we grew up with.

This is only a first look—we’re preparing a detailed DevDiary to show you everything that’s coming. New fish species, a new fishing mechanic, and a piece of Ukraine’s landscape are all on the way, crafted with love and dedication. We aim to release this location by the end of the year as a special Christmas gift to our players.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us. This project is dedicated to the brave defenders of our Homeland and to the memory of those who have given their lives for Ukraine. It is because of their courage and sacrifice that we are able to continue our work today.

Welcome to the Topwater Kayak Cup tournament! Get ready to take on the challenge of catching a range of fish with topwater lures under special rules. Show off your skills by landing big fish and reaching the Finish Point before time runs out!

Travel to top fishing spots around the world, from Lake Falcon in Oregon and the Selenge River in Mongolia to California’s San Joaquin Delta. Reach the semifinals at Michigan's Saint-Croix Lake, and compete in the final showdown at Lake Maku-Maku in Peru!

The Topwater Kayak Cup 2024 will be held from November 12th until November 17th, with the Registration starting on November 11th, 24 hours prior to the First Qualifier.

The Tournament’s timetable is as follows:

• 11th of November - Registration for the Tournament begins.
  
• 12th of November - Qualifier 1 in Oregon, FALCON LAKE.
  
• 13th of November - Qualifier 2 in Mongolia, SELENGE RIVER.
  
• 14th of November - Qualifier 3 in California, SAN JOAQUIN DELTA
  
• 16th of November - Semifinal Round in Michigan, SAINT-CROIX LAKE.
  
• 17th of November - the Grand Finale in Peru, MAKU-MAKU LAKE.
  

Important:
Be sure to check out all the Tournament details in the Tournament Tab within the game. A key aspect of this tournament is that only Spinning and Casting rods with top water lures are permitted. You cannot use rod stands and stringers, only keepnets are allowed. Please, note that boats are prohibited, players must use only kayaks during the tournament.

Also, don’t forget to review the Competitive activities rules before registering. Remember, only one Fishing Planet account is allowed per device for tournaments. If you're playing with family, each member will need their own device to participate.
