Happy Fishing Planet Anniversary!

Dear Anglers,

Fishing Planet’s Anniversary falls on Sunday this year, so we are announcing a whole weekend of celebrations!

Nine years ago, we launched the game on Steam. Since then, we've expanded to PlayStation, Xbox, Apple, and Android. Over the past year, we've launched on the Epic Games Store, and we’re not stopping there—stay tuned for news about another platform release coming soon!

Our community has grown significantly, now boasting nearly 29 million players across all platforms. We've become closer to you with the launch of our official Facebook group, which has been growing rapidly. In just eight months, we've reached 15,000 members, coinciding with hitting 15,000 members in our official Discord server. It’s a great pleasure for us to see our community expand and look forward to more exciting moments together!

In the past year, we've introduced Clubs and Club Leagues, new fishing mechanics, and our biggest update yet: the Ocean. Saltwater fishing, Fishing Together with friends on the same boat, new fishing yachts, navigation buoys, trolling, a 3D start screen, and even kitty cats added into the game! Behind the scenes, we've also made significant strides, releasing hotfix patches for all platforms simultaneously twice, which means 16 patches in one day!

This nine-year journey feels like a full circle for us. When we first created Fishing Planet, we dreamed of offering both freshwater and saltwater fishing experiences in breathtaking locations around the globe. With 25 maps worldwide and now ocean fishing in the game, we've turned that dream into reality. Seeing our vision come to life is incredibly rewarding, and we couldn't have done it without the support and passion of our amazing community!

The end of one circle means the beginning of a new one. We are already working on new saltwater and freshwater locations, new events, and many other features that you will soon discover in our DevDiaries.

And of course, we have prepared something special for the celebration!

First, we are excited to launch the Sailor Collection Pack. It includes a sleek and stylish ocean outfit with the coolest purple glasses, a powerful spinning setup, and saltwater casting gear as fierce as a beast! You'll also get tons of terminal tackle, along with a high-tech six-slot rod case. Enjoy seven days of access to Kaiji No Ri with Premium and the advanced license. Whether you're looking to extend your saltwater fishing adventure or explore the ocean for the first time, this pack is a fantastic deal!

Another highly anticipated event for our players is the Fishing Planet Anniversary License and Travel/Stay Discount. From today until August 14th, enjoy up to 60% off all unlimited licenses and travel and stay costs at all locations! Plus, there are discounts on 12 and 6-month Premium available on Steam and Epic Games platforms. This is the perfect time of year to make some long-term investments—enjoy!

Plus, if you haven’t yet, come join our community on Discord and our official Facebook Group. Stay tuned for updates and participate in the Fishing Planet Anniversary giveaways for a chance to earn exclusive rewards. We have prepared several activities for this weekend, which will be announced soon. We love treating our community not just during big celebrations like this one, but also on random weekends throughout the year, so stay with us!

Thank you for being a vital part of this incredible journey and inspiring us to continually grow and improve. Your enthusiasm and support mean the world to us. We’re excited to celebrate with you this weekend and to keep crafting unforgettable fishing experiences together.
