[h3]Happy Holidays, Habbos!!! 🎅[/h3][p]We’re calling on the community to compete to create a brand new, Christmas-themed furni item that we’ll release for everyone to enjoy. [/p][p]Will you design a cosy fireplace, a frosty snowball machine or something completely out of this world? Only you know the answer to that![/p][p]🎨 Your task: Design the ultimate piece of Christmas furni that captures the joy, weirdness, or nostalgia of the holidays in Habbo Hotel: Origins.[/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][h3]🛑 Rules and Design guidelines (please read thoroughly!)[/h3][p]IMPORTANT: You MUST use PostImages to submit your design. This is a pixel art competition and your submissions are likely to include multiple images that cannot be compressed or stretched.[/p][p]PostImages has an option to not resize your image, so make sure it is selected before you upload. You can also ensure your submissions are hidden from public view, which is helpful to avoid plagiarism.[/p][p]Note that by submitting on PostImages, you are also automatically approving for us to show your entry on our website and social media if you place in the top 20.[/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][h3]🗒️ Rules:[/h3][p]Submissions must include the big version of the furni, with an optional submission of the small size for bigger Origins rooms. Submitting the small size does not increase your chances of winning over entries without one.[/p]

• [p]Your design must be pixel drawn, entirely your own work, and not AI generated.[/p]
• [p]Your design must respect the Habbo Way (no offensive or inappropriate imagery).[/p]
• [p]Submitting multiple entries, including the use of alts, is forbidden, and you will be disqualified if we find you to have used alts or submitted multiple entries.[/p]

• [p]The furni size should be one tile (see below images for guidance).[/p]
• [p]If your furni looks different when it’s rotated, for example showing the back of a chair, you must draw it from both sides and upload both images to your PostImages post.[/p]
• [p]If your furni has different states, you’ll need to draw them and add them to your PostImages post.[/p]
• [p]Multiple furni states: Understand how to represent different states of your furni.[/p]
• [p]Designing from both sides: While flipping your design horizontally works in most cases, take a look at the Plasto chair example below to see why this doesn’t always apply with chairs.[/p]
• [p]To-scale, isometric grids: Use these as a guide to accurately scale your designs, with separate grids for big and small furni.[/p]

[p][/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][h3]🧑‍⚖️ Judging[/h3][p]Stronghandle, a member of the art team, will be judging this furni design competition (cheers Stronghandle!) He’ll be judging your entries based on:[/p]

• [p]The quality of the artwork: Technical, artistic skills matter a great deal in this task.[/p]
• [p]Your creative approach: How will you make your furni stand out from the rest? Will you work an IRL reference or meme into it somehow? We’re looking for out-of-the-box thinking![/p]
• [p]Its relevance to Habbo: Will you work in any Habbo lore to your design? How will you make your furni relevant to the Habbo Hotel brand?[/p]
• [p]Sense of humour. Making your design funny in some way could make your design stand out.[/p]

[p]We reserve the right to make edits to the winning furni to ensure it works in-game and meets our design standards.[/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][h3]📤 How to submit[/h3][p]Upload all versions of your furni to PostImages (you must use PostImages when submitting your entries!) Then, fill in this global Google Form before 8am Habbo Time on December 15th.[/p][p]You're advised to keep your furni designs off other social media platforms until after the submission deadline, so that there is less chance of your work being stolen and submitted under a different name.[/p][p]Please note that by participating in this competition, you fully accept that your furni may be used inside Habbo Hotel: Origins.[/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][h2]🏆 Prizes [/h2]

We’re both impressed and grateful for all of our Creators Circle members’ hard work to date in all three Origins hotels, however, following a decline in staff-led activities we have placed faith in a new group of Event Creators to take in-game events to the next level.[/p][hr][/hr][h2]THE EVENT CREATORS[/h2][p]Moving on from the Creators Circle concept, we’re introducing a group of official Event Creators, some of whom you will recognise from the Creators Circle, along with some new faces you might recognise from their events and games around Origins.[/p][p]This programme aims to replace both the Gamer’s Arena (staff-led weekly games) and the current Creators Circle programme.[/p][p]The Event Creators will be responsible for bringing you a variety of weekly games with multiple chances to win weekly rares and Champion Trophies, as well as larger themed and story-based campaign events (including global events) every month with credits, rares, and maybe even badge prizes![/p][hr][/hr][h2]MEET THE TEAM[/h2][p]As it stands, our current Creator Circle members will be wrapping up the programme throughout December, and we aim to enter the New Year with a bang and full launch of the Event Creators programme. To make the launch even more special, the community is coming together for seven days of exciting, creator-led streams – from live hangouts, events/games and giveaways.[/p][p]Let’s continue celebrating the community![/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]🥳 A COMMUNITY-LED FESTIVAL[/h3][p]For each day within the seven days, our Content Creators across all three hotels have organised in-game events and games for the community, which will be streamed live, either on Twitch or YouTube.[/p][p]In addition to this, you will have the chance to run yourself a Midnight Blue rare on every stream within the week long festival![/p][p]7 Days of Steam & Origins will start from Monday 27th October and run until Sunday 2nd November.
