[p]\[February 20, 2026] XL Games (CEO Martin Choi) announced that the Server Slam Test for its extraction action game, THE CUBE, SAVE US, developed by its in-house Studio CUBE, will start today (Thursday, February 19, PDT).[/p][p]The Server Slam Test is a large-scale public test in which numerous players participate simultaneously using a launch build closely aligned with the live service version. The test aims to verify server stability, inspect core systems, and identify critical bugs. While certain content will be limited, players will be able to experience an environment similar to the official release, allowing for a final assessment of the game’s overall quality.[/p][p] [/p][p]The test will run for approximately 72 hours, from today until 17:00 (PDT) on Sunday, February 22. The test build includes new content previously announced through the Developer Notes. This includes the new boss mutant “Yaksha”, set in the Temple map, along with additional new normal and elite mutants. A dedicated equipment system has also been introduced, allowing players to obtain exclusive gear by defeating elite and boss mutants.[/p][p]In addition, the test features strengthened anti-cheat measures to ensure fair gameplay. UI/UX improvements reflecting global player feedback gathered during the Steam Next Fest period, overall optimization enhancements, and new cosmetic content will also be available for players to experience.[/p][p] [/p][p]Notably, on February 11, XL Games launched the official website for THE CUBE, SAVE US, providing play guides, a media kit, and the latest development updates to further enhance communication with global players. Through this Server Slam Test, XL Games plans to actively incorporate player feedback and further refine the game’s quality ahead of Early Access.[/p][p] [/p][p]Previously, THE CUBE, SAVE US drew significant attention during Steam Next Fest, ranking 3rd in peak concurrent players and Top 8 in global trending demos. XL Games aims to further elevate both gameplay quality and service stability through this Server Slam Test.[/p][p]Steam Early Access for THE CUBE, SAVE US is scheduled for Q1 2026.
