Talk like a Pirate! Day Event
"Why are pirates pirates? cuz they arrrrrr"
Pirate's Hideout Event
Arg me mateys! The great Pirate Hideout has been discovered in Dragon Saga!
There be a new event mission map in town, and it be for all level o' players past level 25, with monsters that scale to yer level! Run the Pirate's Hideout F1 Mission Map to obtain marvelous treasures in the form of mission rewards.
Once ye have made it through the perilous gauntlet of Pirates and scallywags, at the end of this mission you will see two deadly bosses. One of them is the terrifying Hookah, but the other changes with the shifting sea! You will either face off with Alvida or Kalygon . Once you have battled these monstrous foes, they will drop grand pirate treasure chests! Be ye careful though, all monsters in the finale boss room will have to be killed to complete the map.
You may find inside this treasure chest a Slice of Cake, Yogurt, a Balloon, a treasure piece or, if ye be unlucky, junk! Don't worry though; you can always be selling the junk treasure for 10 silver to any shop NPC.
What about them glittery treasure pieces ye ask? The treasure pieces be needed to be exchanged to a Chucky's Clothing Gasha Box, which may be randomly yields a pirate clothing or th' new 'n mighty rare Moby Whale balloon.
It's animated! Do you recognize him? Where have you seen him before?
As fer them shiny mission end rewards, ye can get:
Repair Hammers
An EXP potion
Weapon Enchant Dust
Armor Enchant Dust
Souls
A Pirate's Weapon Gasha Box (only S~SSS Rank)
Pirate's Diamonds (only S~SSS Rank)
Ye can also trade 4 Golden Woodie Statues, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze Woodie Statues at the Hookah NPC by starting the repeatable quest 'Barter ye Booty' (level 25+). If ye be wanting to unlock this repeatable quest you have to complete Hookah's 'Enter th' Hideout' Quest (Level 25+) once on yer pirate fightin' character.
And if ye have some of them Pirate Diamonds, ye can trade 10 at a time at the Hookah NPC by starting the repeatable quest 'Shiny Diamonds' (Level 25+) for a Big IM Consumable Gasha Box which randomly yields IM Consumables.
So go get that pirate treasure, before the time is up, and those scurvy pirates sail back out to sea!
The event stays until October 8, 13:00 Server Time.

Changes to the Behavior of the Physical/Magic Damage Drop Stats
With this update the Physical/Magic Damage Drop formula has been reworked. The amount of damage drop is now soft capped at 10% permanent damage drop. Every amount above 10% is divided by 10 and added to the capped 10%. Therefore it is not possible to get more than 19% permanent damage drop.
Example:
The Fifth Hero Bracelet comes with 17% Damage Drop. The formula is calculated as follows:
10% of the 17% amount are the capped base amount you'll get as permanent damage drop. The remaining 7% are dived by 10 = 0.7% which is added to the 10% base amount you already have. Then you'll have a permanent damage drop of 10.7%.
Now you get your hands on Zeus Wing which give 10% magical damage drop. Your damage drop amount is now 27%. The calculation is now as follows:
10% of the 27% amount are the capped base amount you'll get as permanent magic damage drop. The remaining 17% are dived by 10 = 1.7% which is added to the 10% base amount you already have. Then you'll have a permanent magic damage drop of 11.7% and a permanent physical damage drop of 10.7%.
Additionally you always have a chance to get the full % damage drop amount you have on your gear on any hit. The chance to get that full amount is at 7.5% if you have a damage drop of 100%.
The formula for that calculation is as follow:
7.5% * ParticularDamageDrop / 100
Example for this Calculation:
Taken the above example with the bracelet and the wings, the chance you'll get the full drop amount when being hit is:
Physical: 7.5% * 17% / 100 = 1.28% - means you have a chance of 1.28% on a physical hit that the damage drops by 17% instead of only 10.7%
Magical: 7.5% * 27% / 100 = 2.03% - means you have a chance of 2.02% on a magic hit that the damage drops by 27% instead of only 11.7%
Now you can find an overview of the damage drop amounts you have at the character overview under the Defense category.
Party-Break In
The party-break in feature has been disabled for all instanced maps (Mission Maps, Dungeons).
MyHome
If you are a member in a party you now have to leave the party before you'll be able to enter a MyHome. That change was needed to fix several issues.
General Fixed and Changes
Bug-Fix: The daily quest Stop Lavalon's Revival! will now be visibile after you have completed Valid Raeth F5 without the need to be jobchanged.
