Talk like a Pirate! Day Event

"Why are pirates pirates? cuz they arrrrrr"

Pirate's Hideout Event

Arg me mateys! The great Pirate Hideout has been discovered in Dragon Saga!

There be a new event mission map in town, and it be for all level o' players past level 25, with monsters that scale to yer level! Run the Pirate's Hideout F1 Mission Map to obtain marvelous treasures in the form of mission rewards.

Once ye have made it through the perilous gauntlet of Pirates and scallywags, at the end of this mission you will see two deadly bosses. One of them is the terrifying Hookah, but the other changes with the shifting sea! You will either face off with Alvida or Kalygon . Once you have battled these monstrous foes, they will drop grand pirate treasure chests! Be ye careful though, all monsters in the finale boss room will have to be killed to complete the map.

You may find inside this treasure chest a Slice of Cake, Yogurt, a Balloon, a treasure piece or, if ye be unlucky, junk! Don't worry though; you can always be selling the junk treasure for 10 silver to any shop NPC.

What about them glittery treasure pieces ye ask? The treasure pieces be needed to be exchanged to a Chucky's Clothing Gasha Box, which may be randomly yields a pirate clothing!

As fer them shiny mission end rewards, ye can get:

Repair Hammers
An EXP potion
Weapon Enchant Dust
Armor Enchant Dust
Souls
A Pirate's Weapon Gasha Box (only S~SSS Rank)
Pirate's Diamonds (only S~SSS Rank)

Ye can also trade 4 Golden Woodie Statues, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze Woodie Statues at the Hookah NPC by starting the repeatable quest 'Barter ye Booty' (level 25+). If ye be wanting to unlock this repeatable quest you have to complete Hookah's 'Enter th' Hideout' Quest (Level 25+) once on yer pirate fightin' character.

And if ye have some of them Pirate Diamonds, ye can trade 10 at a time at the Hookah NPC by starting the repeatable quest 'Shiny Diamonds' (Level 25+) for a Big IM Consumable Gasha Box which randomly yields IM Consumables.

So go get that pirate treasure, before the time is up, and those scurvy pirates sail back out to sea!



The event stays until October, 3rd 12:00 Server Time.

Advanced Hero Signs of Odellia

At NPC Don Morgan located at Odellia you are now able to obtain a new Hero SIgn of Odellia for all players who lost it. But it is not cheap. To get a new Hero Sign you will have to pay:

250 Sadonyx
10 Weapon Enchant Dust Cube
10 Armor Enchant Dust Cube
10 Purification Stones
50 Silver Coins.

In return NPC Don Morgan gives you a new fully restricted Hero Sign which can the be traded for a fully restricted Furious Sign of Odellia or Elemental Sign of Odellia.



Concordia Belts

You can now trade your Aram's Belt of Perserverance or Aram's Belt of Wisdom with NPC Edward located at Dragon Valley or Edge of the World to a Concordia Belt of Perserverance resp. Concordia Belt of Wisdom.

In a next step you can exchange that Concordia Belt to an Elemental Concordia Belt.

Concordia Belt of Perserverance

Costs: 1 Aram's Belt of Perserverance, 3x Gem of Curse piece, 3x Gem of Darkness piece, 3x Gem of Glory piece
Stats: Def/Mdef +80 (scales when enchanting), STR+30, ATK+500 (scales when enchanting)

Concordia Belt of Wisdom

Costs: 1 Aram's Belt of Wisdom, 3x Gem of Curse piece, 3x Gem of Darkness piece, 3x Gem of Glory piece
Stats: Def/Mdef +80 (scales when enchanting), INT+30, MATK+500 (scales when enchanting)

Elemental Concordia Belt of Perserverance

Costs: 1 Concordia Belt of Perserverance, 3x Gem of Curse piece, 3x Gem of Darkness piece, 3x Gem of Glory piece, 50 Every Element Bless

Elemental Concordia Belt of Wisdom

When enchanting the belt the soulcraft options are gone.

Advanced Hero Signs of Odellia

At NPC Don Morgan located at Odellia you are now able to exchange your Hero Sign of Odellia to either a Furious Sign of Odellia (which has added ATK and MATK to it which scales when Soul Crafting) or to a Elemental Sign of Odellia (which has added ATK and MATK to it which scales when Soul Crafting and additionally All Elements Damage +3).
You can also upgrade in 2 steps – The Hero Sign of Odellia to the Furious Sign of Odellia and then finally to the Elemental Sign of Odellia. The upgrade costs are the same.

Exchanging the Hero Sign of Odellia to the Furious Sign of Odellia costs 15 Purification Stones and 10 Weapon Enchant Dust Cubes.
Exchanging the Furious Sign of Odellia to the Elemental Sign of Odellia costs 75 Every element blesses, 15 Purification Stones and 10 Weapon Enchant Dust Cubes.
Exchanging the Hero Sign of Odellia directly to the Elemental Sign of Odellia costs 75 Every element blesses, 30 Purification Stones and 20 Weapon Enchant Dust Cubes.

Please know that when exchanging the Signs to another one  the Soulcraft Effects are gone. Also the Elemental Cerberus RIng is fully restricted.

 

New Achievements

Five new Achievements for you to get. The next monster slayer medal can be obtained! You just have to get the 4 needed "expert monster slayer" medals:
Nutcracker – Slay 555 Squirrels (for example at Pine Cone Hills)
Flower Power – Slay 555 Flowers (for example at Tutu Tree Forest)
Crystal Clear – Slay 555 Golems (for example at Land of Temptation)
Yeti Master – Slay 555 Yetis (for example at Storm Snowfield)



 

New Moods for Field Maps

The following maps do have dawn, day, dusk and night moods now depending on your local time:
Lamieta, Salvalon, Eruda Valley, Smoldering Swamp, Reed Swamp, Dried Woods Swamp

 

Quality of Life Updates

Line Up can now sort single pages of the Inventory
By pressing on the Line Up button at the title bar of your inventory with the left mousbutton the only currently selected page is sorted. If you want to line up both pages together you need to click on the button with the right mousebutton.

 

Moving Items to and from the Vaults (Character Vault, Account Vault, Guild Vault)
When you move items to the vault by clicking with the right mouse button the items are now put into the currently selected page of the vault. Also if you click with the right mouse button to get something out of the vault the item is put to the currently selected inventory page. If the item goes into a different inventory type it is put into the first free slot.

 

General Fixes and Changes

- fixed a bug that NPC Hime / NPC Coneil were looking like the Pixel Saga version of them
- items for large mails can now be sent from the additional inventory space
- the text of the inventory expansion items has been fixed and shows now 144 slots instead of 72
- the quest line view has been removed from the quest book because it's now obsolete and caused more confusion than help

 

Crazy Support Pet Week

We have added a bunch of new Support Pets this week. All of them are capable to reach max stats and to get MS and AS (but not both together). Also they all share the Teleport skill and the Teleport Cost Reduction Skill.

These are the new Support Pets (some might look familiar):

Stumpy, a Woodie, comes with 6 different textures (can be dyed with the Pet Dye Potion), additional Skills: Poison Cloud and Wheel Wind

Oak, Cherry, Pine and Cactus: Same as the Stumpy but can't be dyed.

Little Griffon, comes with 5 different colors  (can be dyed with the Pet Dye Potion),additional Skills: Ice Cloud and Fire Cloud

Mini Phelix, comes with 6 different colors (can be dyed with the Pet Dye Potion), additional Skills: Dark Cloud, Poison Cloud and Wheel Wind

Alium, a little alien, comes with 8 different colors  (can be dyed with the Pet Dye Potion), additional Skills: Nursing and Better Potion (a real supporter!)

 

Merlion, an adorable Sea Lion, comes with 6 different color  (can be dyed with the Pet Dye Potion), additional Skills: Nursing and Better Potion


 

All of them can be obtained from the item mall (Event Tab) for 240 IM Points.

But that is not all, if you are fast you might be able to obtain one from our limited sale! Until September, 19th we offer 20 of each of them for the special price of 200 IM Points. Only while supply lasts. When all have been bought the offer ends. Every member can only obtain 1 of them through this special offer!

Also we currently sell 50 Pet Dye Potions for 160 IM Points each (limited to 2 items per Member) and 50 Pet Option Randomizers (10 pcs.) for 240 IM Points each (limited to 1 package per Member).

 

Additionally the following mounts have been adjusted to be capable to get max stats:
Flix, Golden Flix, Pink Flix, Tabby Flix, Mrs. Husky and Mrs. Phelix

If you already own one of them you need to Pet Option Randomize them

Skill Change: Time Reverse Aura (Paladin)

Within Dungeon of Destiny the casting time and cooldown time is only reduced by 0.5 seconds when this skill is active no matter the level of the skill.


Skill Change: Sacred Protection (Paladin)

The skill does not take 100% of the damage the party member anymore instead the caster takes 50% of the damage of the party member. The party member still gets the other 50% of the damage. The damage the caster takes is finally reduced by 2% (Skill Lv.1), 4% (Skill Lv. 2), 6% (Skill Lv. 3), 8% (Skill Lv. 4) and 10% (Skill Lv. 5). The other skill effects haven't been changed.


General Fixes and Changes

- to mitigate botting Event Drops of any kind are no longer dropping on Hidden Maps
- to decrease AFK farming the drop of Silver Coins and Broken Relics is no longer Party shared
- fixed a bug which was causing an "An undefined error has occured" when trying to attach a Socket Card, Prime Pixel or Mega Pixel to an item when using Reinforced Insurance Scrolls traded by Harvey
- fixed a bug which caused that the amount of items traded at some NPCs was shown behind the particular item icon
- added packages of 5 IS and 5 RIS to NPC Harvey (community wish)
- added an informative text to the NPC Harvey trade dialog
- added an informative text to the NPC Edward trade dialog at Dragon Valley and Edge of the World
- removed Yeti Balloon and Metal Cube Balloon from the Vending Machine and added the Tofu Balloon and the QQ Balloon (10 Silver Coins each)

- Water Guardian Weapon Box has been added (80 IM)

Golden Dragon and Midnight Calm mounts are now capable to get the high stats. If you already own one of them and you want them to get high stats you need to Pet Option Randomize them.
