More Unity Celebration
Collect 10 2nd Unity Event Coins and trade them at the Vending Machine for a Unity Event Gasha Box which randomly contains a part of the Unity Accessory, a part of the Unity 2.0 Accessory or an [Event] Unity Weapon Gasha Box.
You can obtain 2nd Unity Event Coins by killing Monsters inside Expert Modes, Dungeons (except of Temple of Water) and Mission Maps starting with Mirinae Sanctuary.

This event is available until September 8, 13:00 Server Time.

General Fixes and Changes
- Textfixes: Various fixes to wrong quest texts
- Skillfix: Twin's Tornado Uppercut Lv. 6-10 now correctly summons 2 tornados
- Skillfix: Summoner's Meteor Rain now hits fallen enemies as described starting with Lv. 3
- Adjustment: The 10 Level Dungeon Reward Restriction has been removed for Ork Field and Glastheim Dungeon. These now should give rewards all the time.
- Adjustment: The Paris Doll Pet now has the ability to teleport and reduce the teleport costs. Also it has been turned into a common Support Pet and can get the usual high stats but no longer Movement Speed and Attack Speed at the same time
- Fix: The Glacial Guardian Weapons cannot receive an Aura effect for technical reasons and a Costume Weapon Aura Mutator cannot be used with this weapon anymore. If you added an Aura to that weapon which is not shown and you bough the Costume Weapon Aura Mutator item with your own IM Points (not from the Market or IM Sellers) please contact the WarpPortal support team.

- Adjustment: The Ports of the Wind Farm (Windy Farm) is no longer considered a city and the open market cannot be accessed from that map anymore. This has been done to prevent the possibility of hiding multiple logged in accounts on the PoW Farm.

DragonSaga Evolved: Monster Defense Re-Design
We have re-designed the way how monster defense is working since it never has been adjusted to reflect current gameplay and stats.
So far monsters had a very low defense amount which has been designed for how the game worked in 2010 but it does not reflect the current high damage and stat amounts.
Instead of giving a flat defense amount, monsters now defend a specific amount of the damage which has been dealt to them with respect to the enchant level of the weapon and monster type. A field monster attacked with a +4 weapon doesn't have as much defense as a boss monster attacked with a +20 weapon. Due to the high difference in the damage amounts between a +4 and a +20 weapon it is still more efficient to use a +20 weapon to slay a boss monster than using a +4 weapon. Additionally this update makes the stat Critical Defense Break more useful in PvE.

Monsters below Level 20 have no defense.
Critical Defense Break Change
With this update also the Critical Defense Break Stat has been changed. Critical Defense Break can now happen if doing a normal hit as well with a chance of the Critical Defense Break Chance.

For PvP nothing has changed.

Calculation Examples
The monster defense is – as before – calculated per hit a player does to the monster.

Example 1:
Player hits an elite monster on a mission map with a +7 Weapon dealing 5,000 damage, having a Critical Def Break Amount of 30%. The monster has 9.31% defense.

Without a Critical Def Break hit:
FinalDamage = Damage – (Damage * MonsterDefense)
FinalDamage = 5000 – (5000 * 0.0931) = 5000 – 465 = 4535
The Damage a player deals to that kind of monster with a hit of 5,000 damage is 4,535.
With a Critical Def Break hit:
FinalDamage = Damage – (Damage * MonsterDefense * (1.0 – CriticalDefBreakAmount))
FinalDamage = 5000 – (5000 * 0.0931 * (1.0 – 0.3)) = 5000 – (5000 * 0.0931 * 0.7) =
5000 – 325 = 4675
The Damage a player deals to that kind of monster with a hit of 5,000 damage as Critical Def Break hit with 30% amount is 4,675.

Player hits a boss monster on an Expert dungeon map with a +20 Weapon dealing 50,000 damage, having a Critical Def Break Amount of 60%. The monster has 30% defense.

DragonSaga Evolved: IM Weapons ATK/MATK
IM Weapons can now receive ATK/MATK (depending on the weapon type) stats when being soul crafted or soul craft randomized.

- Fix: The Ice Quakee boss of the Ice Element Dungeon does no longer receive the Flinch effect for consistency with all other bosses
- Fix: The Burlune boss of the Nature Element Dungeon now takes his child monsters with it when it is dying

Europeans are now back for 3 months. Time to grab the [Event] Unity sets again for everyone who missed it. Collect 10 Cooling Ice Packs and trade them at the Vending Machine for [Event] Set of Unity parts. If you want to get the [Event] White Set of Unity you need to exchange 2 parts of the old [Event] Set of Unity plus 10 Cooling Ice Packs for one parts of the White Set.

You can obtain Cooling Icepacks by killing Monsters inside Expert Modes, Dungeons (except of Temple of Water) and Mission Maps starting with Mirinae Sanctuary.

[h2]Ice Rock Hill: Mood[/h2]
Ice Rock Hill now supports the 4 moods Day, Night, Dusk and Dawn depending on your mood setting.

[h2]Bug Fix: Visual bug in Expert Modes [/h2]
In Expert Modes the game has shown wrong damage numbers all the time. This has been fixed now. You will notice that the damage shown will be differently from what it showed before. For example the damage number now reflects that critical damage is halved. Also the damage is always the same as intended in Expert Modes, since the damage calculation does not take any random numbers into account. Instead the median of you weapon damage is taken for that calculation. The calculation was always like this and has not been changed. Just the damage amount shown was wrong and has been fixed. You still deal the same amount of damage as before this visual bug fix.

[h2]Summoner: Venom Whirl Skill[/h2]
The Summoner now has new skill called Venom Whirl. It is similar to the Fire/Ice Orb of the magician classes. Differently from these the Summoner has no upgrade skill for it. Instead as soon as the character reaches Lv. 50 the skill is automatically upgraded to additionally shot poisonous Dragon Nails.
