For the next month, Huey Games will be running a Relic Hunters Zero: Remix kickstarter for a physical edition of the game! A retro-style release is only appropriate for a retro-style shooter like RHZ, so the game will come in a USB stick hidden in a super cool cassette! Check out what it looks like!

Follow the crew of the Spaceheart as they run, gun, and dodge their way through unrelenting force as they race for the ancient relics against the evil Ducans. Assume control as one of the Relic Hunters and venture through several different game modes in this frantic, 2D, twin-stick, shooting roguelike. We are tremendously excited to announce that Relic Hunters Zero: Remix will be hitting the Nintendo Switch in just a few weeks on Thursday, May 7th! For the first time on a console, you’ll be able to join Jimmy, Pinkyy, and the Spaceheart crew as they enter Asteroid Dungeon Nemesis, face down the Ducan menace, and excavate the relics of power! Relic Hunters Zero: Remix will be available exclusively for download through the Nintendo eShop for $12.99 in North America and €11.99 in Europe. As a special bonus for fans, though, we’ll be hosting a discount to $9.99 for anyone that picks up the title before May 11th!

Two months ago, we announced that Akupara Games would be taking the reins on Relic Hunters Zero and promised hunters all across the globe an update to the fan favorite title. Today, we’re making good on that promise and sharing what's coming soon!

Announcing Relic Hunters Zero: Remix, coming soon is an all-inclusive update for PC players and the first title in the Relic Hunters franchise to come to Nintendo Switch! For users on Steam, you'll see a brand new Relic Hunters Zero experience the first time you boot up! We have brand new alternate skins coming for all seven characters as well as an updated soundtrack featuring new menu, level and boss music that we're sure you'll love! Perhaps most importantly, though, we've picked ten guns from the modding community and added them to the base game for everyone to enjoy!

“It’s a childhood dream come true to bring our characters and universe to a Nintendo platform,” said Mark Venturelli, creator of Relic Hunters. “We are also including some weapons created by our amazing modding community, and it feels super good to see this game, which has been very much a community effort since day one, reaching even more people.”
