A word from us

In the light of a very recent event, I feel its necessary to give a small update on the state of things.

6 months ago we announced the Vengeance reboot and I am very happy to report good progress on this update/reboot. It is not quite done yet but we are getting pretty close.

Here is a bit of WIP gameplay that we recorded for internal purposes.
A quick note: The crosshair that you see in the video was for testing purposes and will not be in game. There will be no crosshair. The gameplay in itself was not changed very much.

~The silence has been broken~


It has been a long, long time since you last heard from us but we asserted that this game will be finished.
Today is the day! Not the update release day but it won't be another year until this update hits the light of day.

Technical changes

Due to the unavailability of servers, we chose to change our networking to a more battle proven and known one.
The biggest advantage is that this change and many others mean a huge performance increase and no more connection issues to games.
However, worry not!
We won't be changing the core gameplay very much, however, there are certain team-based features that will be removed.
Since Vengeance, in its core, is a one-man game, these features do not make much sense and will be replaced by other, more one-man oriented features.
Classes, more specifically the "medic" and "supporter" have been removed. Every player will now spawn with a one-time heal utility ("syringe").
The absence of the so called "supporter" will probably not be noticed, however, it will be replaced by ammo crates that are placed on every map which can be used to restock your ammo.
Ammo drops by players will stay but give less ammo. They will be supplemented by medikits that work in a similar manner.

Map changes

In our absence, we have not been doing nothing. Our quality level in terms of map graphical fidelity has drastically improved. That, however, means all maps will be removed and replaced by new ones. Currently, we are working on 5 different maps with different layouts. The first map is also still a work in progress so you can give us some feedback there.




Weapons

Vengeance's armory will be supplemented where it was lacking. Heavy guns and more shotguns. Here are some examples:


User Interface

All new user interface. We can't show you anything yet - but let us assure you it will be much more streamlined and less complicated.

Hey guys!

Today is Vriday #1!

We will be playing at 20:00 (8 pm) German time (UTC +2) on "Vriday #1"

And good news regarding servers:
EU Servers are back up (EU1, EU2, EU3), thanks to Alydus!

We hope we will see you ingame!

Vridays (Event)

Hello everyone!

as you will have noticed, you can't find players on the servers at all times, unfortunately.

That's why we (it was suggested by Inxpnk) came up with the idea of Vridays (Vengeance Fridays) where we (the devs) will be playing for a few hours and maybe even livestream.

We will do announcements every fridays a few hours before we start and when we start.

We hope you like this idea and will join!
