[Stories] Fire paved my way. Part two

The heat was so intense that Augustus felt like another second, and his skin would melt. Not a single cell free of pain and utter fatigue was left in his body. His cheek felt the earth torn with tires and tried to get a good look at the bonfire in front with his only eye — the second was covered by a wet pink veil.

With each plunge into soundless darkness, Augustus hoped that he would not wake up. All that awaited him in reality was either a slow and painful or a quick and terrible death. He did not think that he should avenge the murdered loved ones, as he understood that he did not have enough strength. The fury beating in his chest did not die out, but it burned much less than the blazing fuel spilt around him. Augustus somehow crawled away from the flame and succumbed to the darkness once again.

The triumphant cries of the killers brought back his consciousness. Raiders gathered around the fire feasted and shared the loot. They weren’t even bothered by the smell — they lit the fire to get rid of the bodies. Augustus laughed bitterly, quietly thanking someone omnipotent. If the bastards remembered about him, they would probably have thrown him into the fire alive. Maybe before his death, he would have to see one of his own.

[News] Crossout Calendar — November

Hello there, survivors!

Slowly, little by little, we finally entered the last month of autumn. Just a bit more, and Gronch is going to try and steal Christmas again. In the meantime, you can salvage the things that are lying around in your storage and take them... where? Right, to the Scrapyard!

Vicky's gang from the Scrapyard has long held the first place among engineers who can assemble an armoured car even from pure trash. But this month, the gang was replaced by a talented survivor who created 1119 UTILIZATOR. This powerful harvesting vehicle will deal not only with garbage but also with your problems. Our editorial board was so inspired by the armoured car that we started cleaning the office with its help. This moment is captured in the picture. The beautiful bandit from the Scrapyard kindly agreed to lead the process.

And next time we will find out if Gronch managed to win back his armoured car. The evil genius Lloyd kidnapped him, and the survivors are already crafting help for the Christmas kidnapper to bring back chaos and New Year's madness to the Wasteland. Stay tuned!

[Stories] Fire paved my way. Part one

Arranging weapons supplies with the Lunatics is a pleasure you'd happily give to the worst enemy, but Augustus always took it upon himself. The thought that Martin would have to speak face to face with these scavengers disgusted him.

That's what the knechte called the Lunatics — scavengers or jackals. One of the elders told Augustus that before Crossout such animals that fed on carrion and never attacked strong predators lived in the deserts. A suitable comparison for Pete's gang, which he for some reason dares call a “faction”.

On the way to the camp, Augustus tried to keep the details of the negotiations in his head in order to tell Martin about them, but the hard day stubbornly invaded his head, and his throat still burned with a smack of smoke.
