This face looks familiar. I saw her somewhere… Maybe I can try and get a picture of her. I need to think about it... Perhaps you have some ideas where I can get it?
That’s all well and good, but you’re here for my amazing stories, aren’t you? Well, I’ve got one. It happened just the other day.
I laid on the ground and just looked at the clouds passing by. The shade of a blade of grass, swaying haphazardly in the wind, fell on my face. Some movement on it attracted my attention. It was a caterpillar. A long, green caterpillar. Apparently, it’s better to hide in the green. Yeah, this camouflage was definitely right for her. It was still a young caterpillar and it wasn’t ready to pupate tomorrow, so it crawled up the stem quite briskly. Straight to the sun...
The illusion disappeared instantly. What tracks? What grass? I’m lying passed out in a puddle of machine oil outside the garage. My head was cracking, and my throat was dry. Without learning anything new, I went back to the station.
And they warned me not to go to the service station, to those spiky guys.
So. How do you like the story? I even made a sketch of that caterpillar! Here it is:
