The iconic heroes of Nickelodeon’s celebrated animated series, Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, are coming to SMITE!

This world-bending crossover event will see Aang, Zuko, and Korra (with Naga by her side) face their toughest challenge yet: the Battleground of the Gods.

All three characters will be available as skins in the all-new Avatar: The Last Airbender Battle Pass. Merlin will become Aang, bending water, earth, fire and air in a true show of Avatar power. Zuko will wield his sword – and bend fire – as Susano. And Korra will enter the Battleground of the Gods alongside pet polar bear dog Naga as Skadi.

With the Mid-Season Update comes a variety of gameplay and balance changes. Ratatoskr, the Sly Messenger, is receiving a gameplay update that encourages different playstyles. Ratatoskr can now choose from 4 different Acorns, each granting a different gameplay experience. The Conquest map’s Jungle comes to life, with all-new abilities and behaviors for all of the monsters. These monsters are now more formidable opponents, adding a new degree of challenge to SMITE's most competitive game mode. Plus: Items are seeing widespread changes, with a massive rework to Physical Penetration items and all-new items added to the Shuriken tree, the Katana tree, and the Hammer tree. Gods & Goddesses!

The Avatar Battle Pass has even more content for dedicated fans of the series, including an Appa ward skin and a global emote honoring unlucky cabbage vendors. Plus, this Battle Pass will include bonus prestige skins featuring Aang and Korra in their Avatar states, and Zuko disguised as The Blue Spirit.

The Titan Forge Games team is full of die-hard Avatar fans and when we found out that we’d have the opportunity to work on this franchise, we knew we were going to go all-out and really bring the Avatar world to life in SMITE. We went overboard with detail, capturing each Avatar character’s unique personality and referenced many fan-favorite moments from the shows.

The Avatar: The Last Airbender Battle Pass will be available for purchase in game next month. Be sure to tune into the Mid-Season Update Show on Wednesday, June 24, at 3 p.m. EDT for more info on the Battle Pass and the full reveal of these new crossover skins.

Passive - Prey on Fear

Cthulhu breaks down the mental fortitude of enemy gods, applying stacks of Torment with abilities and the final hit of his basic attack chain. On reaching 4 stacks of Torment, enemies are afflicted by Insanity. Additionally, Cthulhu gains Magical Power per nearby enemy god with Insanity

Sanity Break

Cthulhu sends out a terrifying blast of energy, dealing damage to all enemies hit and reducing their Attack Speed. Enemies hit by this ability also do reduced damage to Cthulhu for 6s. This ability applies 1 stack of Torment, 2 if the enemy hit is facing Cthulhu or Fears them instead if they are afflicted with Insanity. Successfully consuming Insanity permanently increases the base mitigation of this ability.

The Mire

Cthulhu summons a portal creating a slowing field of eldritch mire at the target location. While Cthulhu channels, The Mire continues to grow as the portal fires out two masses of corruption that hit and damage all enemies in the field. The first shot also Slows enemies while the second Roots them, both hits applying 1 stack of Torment. Cancelling the ability early stops The Mire from growing or the portal from firing additional shots.

Rushing Terror

Cthulhu creates two twisting projectiles at his sides as he unfurls his wings and charges forwards, damaging, stunning and knocking away enemies hit. The projectiles follow at a slightly slower pace but travel further, damaging enemies as well. Enemies hit by Cthulhu or the projectiles gain 1 stack of Torment.

Descend into Madness

Cthulhu reveals his true form as he plunges the battlefield into R'lyeh while any enemies caught nearby are damaged. In this form Cthulhu gains access to new abilities. Enemies near Cthulhu gain stacks of Torment, increasing in pace if they are facing him. Enemies also suffer the debuff effects of Sanity Break, causing them to deal less damage to Cthulhu. Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn.

Sever

Cthulhu swipes down at the ground beneath him, creating 3 large projectiles. These projectiles damage enemies and apply a stacking Protection Reduction debuff. This ability does not proc item effects.

Devastate

Cthulhu fires a devastating blast of psychic energy that damages and knocks up enemies.

Transfuse

Cthulhu transfuses his own life force into the area around him giving Allies Health, Movement Speed and Power. Enemies are also hit, taking more damage the closer they are to Cthulhu. This ability damages Cthulhu for 6% of his Maximum Health. If Cthulhu is below 20% Health, this ability does not damage Cthulhu but all Ally effects are reduced by 50%.
