Now it's really time to celebrate! As this is the weekend of 9Dragons 5th year anniversary, we will be hosting a special Golden Time Event! Starting at midnight, enjoy our 3x EXP, 3x Skill, and 3x Drop event!

We're bringing the server offline at 11:15 PM (PDT) today, March 25, 2021, for unplanned maintenance. The downtime will be approximately 1-2 hours. If we need more time or come back online early, we'll update this thread.

Reason:

• Fix server stability issue.
  
• The bug fixes and improvements from P236-Patch 238 will be rolled back.
  
• Fixed an issue where blacksmith repair box cursor highlights incorrect item.
  
• Fixed an issue where UI confirmation to change maps shows up in the top left corner.

Qingdao is a village of night, the town of lust and decadence. The village is under the control of the Black Dragon Clan, so the White and Black clan can not easily unleash their momentum.

When dusk falls in the town, the market street becomes sleepless and chaotic due to merchants, thugs, thieves, and gamblers. Rumor has it that the money and treasure collected from the black market and casino are equivalent to Clan of Golden Coins.



The entrance of Qingdao gateway is located in Hefei near the Strolling Valley. There are several NPCs in front of the gate who can provide various information about Qingdao.

Combat is possible in Qingdao and PvP is encouraged. Low ranks should be aware of the invasions from other players.

White Cloud and Black Cloud Basin
The town is divided into two villages across from a memorial tower called the Ghiryu Tower. Warriors on Black Cloud and White Cloud Basin villages must build up their strength to seize the opposite side.



Qingdao Deviants
Emperor Lei, the ruler of the Black Dragons Clan has gone missing. In his wake, the Black Dragon retainers, The Five Heroes From Darkness have free reign to rule over Qingdao. The Five Heroes from Darkness are composed of Magi, the Black Widows Blood, Kwakil, the Shadowless Sword, Hansung, the Flaming Steel Prince, Pyoje, the Hurrican Sword, and Chaewon, the Double-edge Fangs. The strength of deviant evil forces in Qingdao is no joke! Countless warriors came to challenge the deviants in the name of freedom, but none of them have survived to tell the tale.



Ghiryu Tower
Ghiryu Tower is the symbol of true warlords. Each floor has vicious and fearsome deviants lie in wait. The gate into Ghiryu Tower will be open sometime in the near future.



New Road to Enlightenment and Heroic (Daily) Quests
Talk to Yang Wuqi in Hefei to lead you into your journey to liberating Qingdao from the clutches of the Black Dragons clan and their legion of followers through an assortment of new quests. The villagers need your help and are prepared to reward you handsomely for your efforts!

Create New Items and Increase Your Strength
Gather material items from helping villagers in quests and slaying members of the Black Dragons Clan to create an assortment of new items that will help you recruit Comrades that will aid you in battle, or build Weapons and Armor to give you the strength to stand over your enemies!

• The event begins March 23, 2021, after maintenance, and will run until April 20, 2021, before maintenance.
  
• Any accounts found abusing the event will be permanently banned.
  
• Reward items are obtained at a fixed probability -- there is no guarantee that you will obtain them.

• Click the [?] icon located at the top-right corner of an item to open up the Resource and Create window.
  
• Place your cursor over the magnifying glass to check the properties of an item.
  
• Event items and Resource lists will be deleted from the game. Be certain to use/open them by April 20's maintenance.
  

A Comrade is a companion who will fight on your side especially when you are in critical situations. The Comrade system will provide greater support as the level of your Comrade goes up.

As the level of Comrade goes up, you will gain Inner Chi Points. You can choose 1 option from the list of Yin, Yang, Body, Soul, Life, and Vital Energy to increase the stats.

• Attack Attribute: Comrade will attack by using Yin, Yang, Body, or Soul attributes against opponents.
  
• Resistance Attribute: Your defense against Yin, Yang, Body, and Soul attributes will increase as the resistances of your Comrade goes up.
  
• Life Transfer: This will increase your life by transferring a certain amount of Life from your Comrade.
  
• Vital Energy Transfer: Will increase your Vital Energy by transferring a certain amount of Vital Energy from your Comrade.
  

Recruiting a Comrade
Comrade Recruit system allows you to choose 1 of 6 given Comrades as your companion.
Each of them has a unique story to tell.

You can recruit all 6 but can only have 1 accompany you at a time.

How to Recruit

• Select 1 comrade from the portraits located on the left side of the window.
  
• Select the favorite item for the Comrade you’d wish to recruit from your inventory on the right side of the Comrade UI.
  
• Right-click to insert the items into the Recruit Comrade UI and click the Recruit button to hire the selected Comrade.
  

Accompanying with Comrades
The Comrade system allows you to recruit a partner to travel with. When teaming up with a Comrade, they will not only attack together with you but will share vital energy with you in a tough situation.

Your recruited Comrade will automatically be summoned into battle, but can be switched between recruited Comrades by clicking the Accompany button.




Comrade Information

Comrade Growth
Comrades can level up by gaining Exp. Exp will be gained by feeding them their favorite items. The more favored the item, the more Exp your Comrade will receive.

• Click the Growth button located at the bottom of the Comrade menu.
  
• Select and register items that your comrade favors from your inventory.
  
• Click the Use button to gain Exp for your Comrade
  

Comrade Growth specialized items should be consumed based on your Comrade's current Rank. Comrade Growth Item (M)~(L) is not recommended to be used until Comrade 26 Rank or higher.

Pure Blue Ointment is extremely rare. If you happen to come across one of these items, be sure not to use it until you are at a really high rank.



There are 2 types of items used to gain Inner Chi Points for your Comrade: Soul Pills (S), Soul Pills (L).


Comrade Inner Chi Points
You will gain Inner Chi Points upon each Comrade level up. The points can be used to increase the stats of the special skills such as Attributes Attack, Attributes Resistance, Life Transfer, and Vital Energy Transfer.

Click Yin Attack, Yang Attack, Body Attack, Soul Attack, Life Transfer, Vital Energy Transfer, Yin Resistance, Yang Resistance, Body Resistance or Soul Resistance buttons to increase the stats of Comrade that you’ve selected.


In the case you’ve collected plenty of Inner Chi Points, you can Click the details button and click the + buttons for the Attributes you wish to increase.

• Yin/Yang/Body/Soul Attributes Attack :
  
  • Comrade will attack by using Yin, Yang, Body, or Soul attributes to the opponents.
    
• Yin/Yang/Body/Soul Attributes Resistance:
  
  • Your defense against Yin, Yang, Body, and Soul attributes will increase as the resistances of your Comrade goes up.
    
• Life Transfer:
  
  • Will increase your Life by transferring a certain amount of Life from your Comrade.
    
• Vital Energy Transfer:
  
  • Will increase your Vital Energy by transferring a certain amount of Vital Energy from your Comrade.
    

Keep in mind that any stats you add to your Comrade will also be applied to your own character.

Inner Chi Points Reset
Upon using an item called, 'Oblivion Flower,' all applied Inner Chi Points will reset and able to use again to add their attributes.



White Brandy
Consuming White Brandy will increase the number of attacks as well as increase the chance for your Comrade to cast special skills.

• Click the White Brandy button on the recruited Comrade window.
  
• White Brandy Refill: While the White Brandy window is active, select White Brandy from your inventory and click the Use button to recharge.
  
• Click the Activate button to activate the item.
  

White Brandy will be consumed each time your Comrade attacks.
