Patch 7.15 Notes

Patch 7.15 brings a multitude of additions and refinements to the game including new custom deliveries featuring Nitowikwe, the Chaotic alliance raid Cloud of Darkness, and the Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures quests.

* Please be advised that Cloud of Darkness (Chaotic) will not be accessible until Tuesday, December 24 at approximately 7:00 a.m. (PST) / 10:00 (GMT) / Wednesday, 25 December at 2:00 (AEDT), one week after Patch 7.15 releases.

FF14 dev asks Riot to help bring League of Legends to the MMO

What's your dream Final Fantasy 14 crossover? I'm hopeful that some sort of FF7 event is on the way, but there are myriad IPs for Square Enix to collaborate with outside of its own series as well. The MMO has been around for over a decade at this point, and I firmly believe that big crossover events can only be good for the game's longevity over the next ten years. Whatever your picks, though, there's one lead developer at Square Enix who wants nothing more than for FF14 to crossover with League of Legends. So if that's something you want too, now's the time to make your voice heard.

FF14 Ultimate Race to World First winner admits using plugins

The FF14 RWF (Race to World First) for the newly released Futures Rewritten Ultimate is over, and we have a winner - and a fresh dose of plugin drama. The race is one of the most highly anticipated parts of the Final Fantasy 14 calendar, as the launch of its hardest fight tier pits the very best players against one another to see who can overcome the challenge first. As with the previous race, however, it's raised further questions around the use of external plugins, as eventual victor GRIND confirms one member was making use of third-party tools.

Patch 7.11 Notes

Patch 7.11 adds a variety of new items as well as the sixth ultimate duty, Futures Rewritten.

* Additional features will be implemented in future updates:

A new custom deliveries client (Nitowikwe), Wachumeqimeqi quests, and Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures sidequests are scheduled to be released in Patch 7.15.
The Cloud of Darkness (Chaotic) is scheduled to be released one week after Patch 7.15.
Additional role quests are scheduled to be released in Patch 7.16.
