As FF14 Dawntrail ups the challenge, Yoshida wants to help new players

FF14 Dawntrail is almost upon us, and game director and producer Naoki Yoshida says that, after the successful implementation of solo story elements throughout Shadowbringers and Endwalker, the new expansion for the critically acclaimed MMORPG will have a heavier focus on multiplayer and large-scale content. As it stands, however, Final Fantasy 14 doesn't do the best job of getting newcomers from the story to the endgame, and so PCGamesN asks Yoshida if he'd like to implement more ways to help players learn.

The next stage in the story for the critically acclaimed MMORPG takes us on a journey across the seas to Tural, where Endwalker's emotional ending to the first decade-long story arc gives way to the promise of new adventure. But after more than ten years with a single game, has the well started to run dry? The good news is that the answer seems to be quite the reverse.

Breaking Brick Mountains Returns on June 5!

Begin the quest "Breaking Brick Mountains" by speaking to Havak Alvak of the Mythril Eye in Ul'dah – Steps of Nald (X:12.1 Y:8.2).

During this event, players can purchase a King Slime Crown by speaking with the Toughie in Ul'dah – Steps of Nald (X:8.2 Y:12.2).
