The Final Fantasy 14 live-action TV show is officially "dead," sorry

The Final Fantasy 14 TV show looks to be no more. After being announced in production in 2019 by the producers of The Witcher and The Expanse, one of the core people on the project says that it, sadly, never got picked up.

Even as a newer fan, I'm all too familiar with the FF14 low poly grapes. An enduring meme after Endwalker dropped in 2021, Square Enix might have 'fixed' (the term being purely subjective here) how the infamous purple grapes looked, but the team behind Final Fantasy 14 have also been really good sports about understanding the communities love for the block of fruit. Come patch FF14 6.55, you can get them in yet another form: a lamppost.

The Maiden’s Rhapsody, a special FINAL FANTASY XI collaboration event, is returning to FINAL FANTASY XIV! Participate and discover what strange twist of fate brought a hero of Vana'diel to our realm.

* This event is identical to the one previously held.
* If you have already completed the event, you can replay the quests via the seasonal event replay feature. We highly recommend learning more about this feature on the collaboration special site.

Begin the quest "A Journey to Remember" by speaking to the Remumu in Limsa Lominsa - Upper Decks (X:11.6 Y:11.2).

* This is the same event that was held in 2015, 2017, 2020, and 2022. If you made progress during a previous iteration, you may continue from where you left off. Please check your Journal to determine your current quest progress.

Patch 6.55 Notes



With the conflict in the Thirteenth at an end and Dawntrail on the horizon, the Warrior of Light takes their first steps toward a new adventure.

Patch 6.55 also brings more to explore in the realms of Endwalker, including a new trial, tribal alliance quests, and the continuation of Tataru's Grand Endeavor, Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures, and the Manderville weapon series!

FF14 6.55 patch notes add last Endwalker quest, brand new backpack

The FF14 6.55 patch notes are finally here, as we've only got a few hours left until the servers come back online and we finally get our first foray into what Dawntrail will offer us later this year. You'll meet the internet's new favorite NPC and the first female Hrothgar Wuk Lamat in the Endwalker patch MSQ, see some of the best side characters in new side quests, and even be able to get a backpack accessory too.
