FF14 glamours get a huge upgrade with Dawntrail's two dye system

FF14 glamours have always been the true endgame of the critically acclaimed MMORPG, as any player worth their gil can tell you. Therefore, it's not too surprising that one of the most highly anticipated parts of the FF14 Dawntrail expansion arriving in the summer is its graphics update, and more specifically the new two dye channels you'll have access to. That's right; no longer will promising items of clothing be tossed aside at the realization you can only recolor one minor part. A whole new world of fashion awaits, and I'm so excited.

The FF14 Pictomancer is the second new Dawntrail job and it's gorgeous

The Final Fantasy XIV Fan Fest in Tokyo has given us our first look at the Pictomancer, the second of the two new Dawntrail jobs arriving with the next FF14 expansion in summer 2024. Game director Naoki Yoshida, best known as 'Yoshi-P,' took to the stage to open the event with plenty more exciting Dawntrail details, including the reveal of the second job and a tease of female Hrothgar and a new Beastmaster limited job, and we've got them all here for you.

We now have an FF14 patch 6.55 release date, and it's just a brief while before we can prepare for Dawntrail with the final main scenario quests of Endwalker. As Final Fantasy XIV Fan Fest Tokyo continues, game director Naoki Yoshida, best known as 'Yoshi-P,' reveals the launch timing for the next patch alongside announcements of the new FF14 Pictomancer job, the Beastmaster limited job, and the playable female Hrothgar race.

Final Fantasy 14's female Hrothgar may not be the MMO's last race

The Final Fantasy XIV female Hrothgar player race was finally shown off at FF14 Fan Fest Tokyo 2024, confirming that the MMO is getting one of the most anticipated custom options. Producer Naoki Yoshida, best known as 'Yoshi-P,' may say it's the last race coming to the land of Eorzea, but he then leaves a little tidbit in his keynote speech that might indicate that more player options are on the horizon, especially if FF14 goes for another ten years.

The FF14 and FF16 crossover is coming when "hype peaks" for Dawntrail

We finally know a little bit more about the highly anticipated Final Fantasy XIV and Final Fantasy XVI crossover, as producer on both games Naoki 'Yoshi-P' Yoshida outlined exactly what to expect when Clive Rosfield comes to Eorzea later this year. While I absolutely cannot wait for the crossover, having just beaten FF16 myself, we're going to be waiting a little longer than expected.
