Don't like other people? You can finally play all of Final Fantasy 14 by yourself

If you're someone desperate to play Final Fantasy 14, but really don't like playing with others, there's good news: you can now play the whole game solo.

Introduced back in the Shadowbringers expansion, the Duty Support System was a way of playing through the new content without having to play without any other actual people. It was a good way to get through the main story without having to wait for other players, or if you're just too socially anxious a person. Square Enix has slowly been rolling it out to other expansions too, and with the most recent update, patch 6.5, it's now possible to play the whole base game and every expansion's main story quests by yourself. Well, technically.

The system does pair you up with relevant NPCs, so it's not like you'll be completely alone, but it does make it more like you're playing a non-online Final Fantasy game. With this patch, the Stormblood dungeons The Drowned City of Skalla, The Burn, and The Ghimlyt Dark are all possible to play with the duty support system, as well as the new dungeon Lunar Subterrane.

Good god, someone has finally completed every Final Fantasy 14 achievement - and it only took them 10 years

In an accomplishment that truly makes my head and mouse-clicking finger hurt thinking about the sheer time and effort required, someone has become the first Final Fantasy 14 player to complete every single one of the MMO’s more than 2,700 achievements.

It took 10 years, but someone has accomplished all 2751 of Final Fantasy 14's achievements

In a genuinely unbelievable display of commitment, one Final Fantasy 14 player has managed to beat every single achievement across the entire MMO.

Look, I'm no achievement hunter. I just don't care that much about them, they don't push me to play as much of a game as possible, and often there's just too many. That sentiment of too many is a bit of an understatement when it comes to Final Fantasy 14, as there are 2751 achievements, which is just ridiculous honestly. And as shared on the Final Fantasy 14 subreddit, someone has actually managed to get every. Single. Achievement.

According to the post, the player is from the Garuda server in Japan, and is the first person to do so in the 10 years the game has been out (thanks, GamesRadar). The user that shared said achievement on Reddit highlighted just how wild said achievement is pointing out the fact the Final Fantasy 14 player in question managed to: complete all five ultimate raids, obtain every single relic weapon from every expansion, caught every fish, and completed every single levequest, which because of time-gating apparently takes a minimum of seven years.
